I decided to use a groupon to come to Zenergize the day before Valentine's Day because I had read such great reviews about this place however the customer service here was the worst I ever experienced. I called to make sure they had availability before securing my groupon deal and they proceeded to tell me not to go through groupon, that they would just give me the discounted rate. This was the first red flag. No upstanding business should try to cheat groupon out of their percentage when it was because of goupon 's advertising that I even found this place to begin with.\r
Secondly, my boyfriend ended up getting into an accident right before our appointment time. I called to let them know what had happened and if I could just reschedule because we would not make the appt on time because of unforeseen circumstances that were out of our control. They assured me it was fine and to just come on. They later called be back, complaining that it was taking me too long to get there. We literally sat on the phone going back and forth for almost 5 mins because they should not have told us they understood the situation and they would make provisions for us before I even started on my way when that was not really what they planned to do. And being extremely rude about the whole situation was totally uncalled for. Finally, I told them I was down the street and they agreed to go on and see us. \r
In addition to the rude and unprofessional manner they handled us over the phone, they also proceeded to lead us to separate rooms to get massages when they had already upcharged me for the couples massage. I then complained about that, and they unapologetically accommodated us. As we sat waiting for them to correct their oversight, we noticed just how run down the lobby was. The whole place was very outdated, tiles were coming unglued from the floor, and to top it off they had the hugest roaches under the coffee table. They called us back and the massage therapists themselves were okay but after the messages we went back up front to tip. The same guy at the desk that had been so rude and unprofessional before was extremely pushy and aggressive about the tipping situation, which also but a bad taste in my mouth for the whole experience. From start to finish this place only cared about the money and does not care about customer service. I will never return and I hope this review helps others avoid what I went through on what was supposed to be such a special day.
