Best massage yet! 9/16/2008

I like to get massages pretty regularly, and so I've tried several different therapists. I decided to try Zen Blend for my first hot stone massage. The massage was phenomenal! The location is a house tucked away on a green belt in south Austin, making the atmosphere very relaxing. The massage was great, the rates are reasonable, and appointments are easy to schedule. more

Total Relaxation 9/16/2008

My husband and I went to check out Zen Blend because my husband was interested in the floatation tank. I have to admit I was a little unsure, but the experience was great. The atmosphere is very relaxing and you are made to feel at ease the moment you walk in the door. The massage was the best I have recieved, and I especially enjoyed the hot stones. I would highly recommend Zen Blen to anyone interested in the floatation tank and for everyone for massage. Pros: Private, very good service more

There is nothing like a visit to Zen Blend. From the moment you wqalk in, the atmosphere is perfect, the mood is friendly and relaxing, the massage is exceptional. So exceptional that my friends and drive 200 miles just to relax with Kristi. I have traveled a lot and often for less payoff than I get at Zen Blend. It has my highest mark of approval. Best Float In TX 9/15/2008

I like to go to Austin so I can get away from San Antonio. Coming to Zenblend, using their tank makes me glad I came to austin so I can relax and enjoy my Quality Time. I haven' t had a massage from Kristi. Perhaps next I go, I will get a massage and use the Tank as well. It Makes a complete therapeutic Mix; for the mind and the body together. I will continue to use the tank In Austin, I' m thinking opening up my own Pros: Parking and Service is Good. Cons: I don' t see any cons there. more

ultimate relaxation 9/15/2008

Some friends and I made a trip out to Zen Blend for a floating session. It was our first time to try one out and I must say that I have never felt so relaxed and comfortable in water before. The atmosphere was pleasant, and they have many services to keep their guests occupied before and after floating. They have definitely spent a lot of time to create a well-rounded experience for their customers. On my next trip I will definitely be trying the hot stone massage. A Perfect Way to Relax 9/14/2008

When you want to really relax, head to zen blend for a float in the deprivation tank and a massage. Zen Blend ROCKS!! I highly reccomend these services and have gone more than once! Hot rocks are awesome as is the heated massage table. Kristi is really friendly, cool and fun! When the going gets tough get your booty to Zen Blend. You will love it! Enchanting, other-worldly spa experience hidden away in suburbia 9/14/2008

I have been to spas in many cities, but Zenblend is by far my favorite. I think it is the attention to detail and the unpretentious, but very attractive setting that set it apart for me. Christy is a gentle, warm person who is also a very gifted massage therapist. In my opinion, there is absolutely nothing not to love about Zenblend. Great relaxation and experience 9/14/2008

My girlfriend and I went down to Austin during the summer of 07. When we first pulled up to the area I thought we were lost because it is located in a residential neighborhood. We got to the front door and Kristi greeted us and was a great host. She showed me the Float tank and had it already set up for me before we got their. Before we got there, my girlfriend was having sharp pains in her left shoulder, so she got the deep tissue massage. After only one session, Kristi was able to work her magic and Niki, my girlfriend, hasn't had any problems with her shoulder. Pros: Ambience, Service Cons: none that I can think of more

best place to center yourself! book it now. 9/13/2008

I found Kristi's website online, booked a float, and cannot get enough of zenblend! I live in San Antonio, and have no problem making the commute to south Austin. I got my mom hooked on this place too. There just aren't enough hours in the week, or hours in the day, or I would make the trip much more frequently. It's personallized quality care and they always make you feel like part of the family. Last time, we did the "couples" package, hour float and massage, and I don't think either one of us, mom or I, have been more relaxed. Kristi is intuitive to what your body needs to re-center yourself and I know that you can't get that kind of care anywhere else. If you are ready to recenter yourself, having a super relaxing, beautiful day, pick up you phone and call Kristi. Believe me, you won't be disappointed. Spoil yourself - you won't regret it! I first found ZenBlend shortly before our wedding. I wanted to spoil my wife during the high stress time before the wedding. We went for a couples afternoon of floating and massage. Kristi (the owner/masseuse) was so good we rescheduled a post-honeymoon visit as well. I absolutely recommend ZenBlend to any one and everyone. Everytime I have gone (which has been several times) it's a completely amazing unforgettable experience. The atomosphere is just as the name, very Zen like. It's relaxing, peaceful and truly wonderful. The service is so awesome and the tea is soooooooo good. If you have never been treat yourself or someone else. You will go back...guaranteed. The experience is totally different and unique and unlike any where else for sure. It's one of those you just have to try it for yourself and you will be so glad you did. more

Kristi gives the best massages in town 9/13/2008

Kristi is awesome. My husband and I went to zen blend for a couple's package (floats and massages) and we've never been anywhere else since. With my third baby, I went every month for a prenatal massage, and she has a special prenatal massage cushion so that I could lay on my belly. She does a great mix of techniques and really takes a lot of great care. I hesitate to give a review because I don't want her to become *too* popular so that I can never get in for a massage! But, really, best massages I've ever had. My husband loves the float tank. Pros: She works out of her home, so it is VERY peaceful. more

Most relaxing way to accomplish a day! 9/13/2008

This was such an awesome way to spend with my girlfriend whom traveled 300 miles to see me. We both were able to spend a little time in our own spheres for a while and the reconnect afterwards. The house where Zen Blend is located has a nice grassy yard that feels good in-between the toes with a shade tree that one might do some tai chi before or after their session. Also, the back yard is zenned out! The inside environment is cozy and relaxing. We opted for the couple?s package and both were able to float and receive a full body massage. The hardest part was deciding which order we would do that. Water or tea was served afterwards; a sincere bon'voyage. I live in San Antonio, but would travel back to Austin to do this again. Wonderful relaxation and incredible service! 9/13/2008

I love to float; it's VERY relaxing and recharging, almost spiritual in a way. For nearly 3 years, I've driven 200 miles each way from the DFW area to float at Zen Blend. They always work to get me in on short notice and take wonderful care of me when I'm there. My wife usually goes along and gets a two-hour massage while I float. It's the only place I've ever seen her be still for that long :-) She absolutely loves the massages and says they are the best she's ever had, and she's gotten massages in some very well-known places. Pros: Wonderful all the way around Cons: For me, it's the drive from DFW. That's not their fault though... more
