I was raised in Cincinnati, but since have lived in both Seattle and San Francisco who incidentally are known for their Asian food. But the Yum Yum tops both cities! And that is no boast. I remember when I stepped into this unassuming place my freshman year in college. i didn't think it would be much but I was hungry, but after ordering the Eight Treasure Lo Mein, I knew all of ther chinese restaurants would pale in comparison. The owners are meticulous and will insist that you tase your food before you leave to make sure it was made to your liking (yea, like that will ever happen in San Francisco or Seattle!) Ok, so the location leaves a lot to be desired (but I have heard that they are fixing up that section of Race Street) and the decor looks a little run down but take a chance.
