Was given a gift card for yorker, for 100.00. never been there, gift card for my birthday. went to use the card found shoe i wanted to purchase after waiting 20 mins for anyone to wait on me, went to register to get someone to get shoes for me, was told i have to wait to get someone on the floor to wait on me. present my gift card, which by the way was initially pair for by cash. they kept sliding the card, saying something wrong, gave them the receipt for the card purchase along with 20.00 cash, the cost of the shoes. still something wrong with card. this went on for 30 mins, till finally i said give me back my 100.00 dollars, and i will pay for the shoes with that 100.00, they wouldnt do that. instead of trying to resolve this problem after i left, they know what the card contained and the cash I gave them equaled the total cost, they insisted in trying to fix the problem with their computer, kept telling me something is wrong with the card. after raising my voice in a store filled with customers, you took my cash i want my shoes, this delay is not my problem, they were trying to keep me quiet, but i made sure all their customers heard me. they are not customer friendly and i would never go there again, nor would i recommend you going there unless you enjoy being abused. it seems they were only concerned with sales, and not satisfaction. the almighty dollar was their idol. for the prices we customers just to puchase a pair of shoes in their over priced store, they should kiss our feet. remember one thing there is always another store who can cater to your needs. unapologetic, rude, non caring, non accomadating, but they had my cash.this place should be shut down, and reopened with a new owner, with caring associates. with the recession we are in they should worship the ground we walk on. I give this store a -10. Stay away!!!!!!. I even tried to tell them fix the problem on your time not mine, you has the transaction slip for the card, and the remainer balance for the shoes,
