Great Cheap Place to eat 8/9/2005

Ying Yang restaurant is a buffet style Chinese restaurant that's just great. You pay one price - which is not at all expensive - and you eat what you want and however much you want! They have a nice variety & selection of food and it always looks fresh, not like it's been sitting out since the morning. The staff is very attentive & friendly as well. It's usually not very crowded, however, may be a bit more so on the weekends, but the wait is never more than just a few minutes for a table. It's also located close to Stony Brook university - so college students should come check it out! more

A great value for Chinese buffet 8/5/2005

One of the best restaurants in the area. Offers an extensive buffet selection, including Chinese delicacies and Japanese maki variety. Many choices in seafood, especially for dinner. Variety also in deserts, fruits and ice cream. Finding a table is almost never a problem, excluding weekends, where an average 10 minute wait should be expected. There exists also the option of take out food, measured by the pound. Prices are very reasonable, especially for lunch, fitting in the budget of the student of nearby Stony Brook University. Highly recommended. more
