Before i start, let me say I have SCHEDULED WEEKLY RIDES THAT ARE MADE OVER A MONTH IN ADVANCE!! WHEN I CALLED THE INS COMPANY TO FILE A COMPLAINT AS SOON AS I TOLD THE OPERATOR that I waned to file the complaint against ?YELLOW CAB? SHE SAID ?OH I KNO U PROLLY TELLING THE TRUTH"" Eventually i told the COMPANY OWNER That after HE lied multiple times about A CAB BEiNG IN ROUTE that *HE* caused me to miss my group, owe an extra $85 *JUST* for missing it AND i may go to jail because they are court ordered groups& if he had ONLY called to say he had NO WAY TO GET ME THERE ON TIME i could have got a ride From someone else BUT, of course he *HUNG UP IN MY FACE* and i was actually CRYING when i told him that but he didnt care! 1ST time i had YELLOW CAB i was late to an appointment, but THEN, made to wait over 2 hrs 45min for my ride home even tho it was scheduled! the guy told me ""its on the way, 15-20 min"" EACH TiME i called! (not to mention it was in a DANGEROUS part of town & i'm A YOUNG, female ALL ALONE at night outside after the place closed!! & it was freezing cold!) come2 find out, the actual driver that picked me up told me the cab broke down& had2 go back2 get a new1. understandable..But still coulda been HONEST & told me so I?d have a ride home WAY sooner! BUT,today, i get a call 30min AFTER my scheduled pick up time saying it'll be ""20 min till i get there."" so i'm outside talking 2a neighbor waitin on my cab& finally realize it's been 44min EXACTLY so i call again &am told ""still lookin for a someone to send to you, so it'll be 15 min"" i said ok & kept my cool but thought 2myself how do u kno its 15 min if you're ""still lookin 4 some1 to send"" so, another HOUR goes by &i call a FEW MORE times wit same answer ""10-15 more min"" Last time i call i get a smart ass ""yes maam, yes maam. a few min maam!? so i ask.. ""i dont understand why if after the 1st 20 min you had no1 to get me you didnt just CALL to say you would be late. my reply ""sorry, it was my mistake"" So I say ?ok, but this is an extremely SERIOUS appt for me & now JUST because you didnt call to tell me you could not get me there on time & kept LYING abt a cab being in route i missed an important appointment, i may have to GO BACK TO COURT & EVEN GO TO JAIL! plus i have 2 pay $85 extra dollars i DONT have just 4the apt I missed BECAUSE OF YOUR LIES. my reply ""WELL, I JUST GOT CAUGHT UP WITH OTHER STUFF N FORGOT"" and the HUNG UP Before I could even say how HORRIBLE of a business practice it is to ?FORGET? a customer is waiting! Well, I decide 2 b a bytch &since its 15min til the end of my group I decide when he gets here ill just ignore him until he gets the hint& leaves.. My gma says I shouldn?t take it out on the driver.. WELL when the cab finally comes, he pulls up ACROS the st frm my house, sits abt 2 min, rolls down a window, looks at me abt 45sec, THEN speaks&expects me to CROSS A DiTCH because he didn?t wanna pull in my driveway! WTF? I told him ?I don?t need a cab cus my appt is over at 6pm? He says ""U JUS CALLED ME A FEW MIN AGO!"" It?s the same1 i been talkin 2 ALL this time on dispatch!!! I said THANKS THO, HAVE A NICE DAY!! He got PiSSED! pulled up1 house past mine& was CUSSING! Like did he expect when I specifically TOLD u to hurry up *BECAUSE* my group would send me away if I was more than 15 min late that i'd be able2 actually GO so HE could earn$ NO! more

The guys are not professional. They do not show up on time and they do not have the courtesy to call you back an inform. Pros: nothing Cons: do not show up on time, do not inform you if they r running late more

I really wish I had read these reviews before calling Yellow Cab. After working for 4 years as a concierge I thought I knew how to choose a service. After phoning 3 other companies, surprisingly enough this company seemed to be the most professional. Hah! I too called the night before (on recommendation of the company) for a 7am pickup to catch a train departing at 8am. Cab never showed up. When I called, they never apologized just stated that they didn't have the order and had no cabs to pick me up. Luckily I had given myself a little extra buffer time and barely made my train. This company is very undependable and un professionally run. Cons: Undependable more

This is the worst service ever. I live in Henrico County. My wife and I were leaving town and my wife was to meet me at the airport. I was to reach airport directly from work after a very important meeting. I called up Yellow cab at 12:00 noon to come and pick her at 4:00 pm. Our flight was at 5:50. Pros: None Cons: Nobody takes responsibility, no courtsey, frustrating experience. more

I called them at 10.30 pm, to order a taxi for 6.15 am the next morning. They take my order, confirm the address, and tell me they will see me at 6.15. We go outside at 6.10 am to wait for the taxi. At 6:25 there was no sign of the taxi, so we call, and get told it will be there in 5-10 minutes. 15 minutes later, it is too late for us to get to where we were going, and still no sign of the taxi. Finally, at 7.10 the taxi shows up. This might work for some, but I find it intolerable. They should at least have had the decency to tell us that they couldn't make it, then we could have tried other companies instead. Cons: Obviously can't tell the time more
