I have to admit, the living area is pretty nice and the apartment is spacious. However, I would not recommend living here for a few reasons.
The biggest one is the management staff. They don't seem to have any experience or knowledge of property management. It seems more like they were hired directly from a used car lot working as junior Salesmen. I hope they will read this and change their ways.
You can expect to be quoted a rate and then end up spending $50-$70 more a month. The problem is, they aren't up front about this and it seems like they will try to squeeze you for every penny they can, after you have no other options. On move in day, I literally had the moving truck out front and was in the process of signing the lease, only to be told for the first time, I will owe an extra $35-$45 a month to pay for water and garbage collection. Plus, due to the fact that the electric company doesn't work on the weekend, I was charged an additional fee of $50. I came up with a win-win solution, but they would hear none of it.
All in all, you can expect to pay around $500-$750 a year more than they are upfront about.
Another complaint I have is it is right next to I-45. I was concerned about the noise. I was talked into paying an extra $15 a month to stay in an apartment away from the interstate. I then asked to see the apartment to make sure it wasn't noisy. But I was told they have a policy that forbids them from showing potential customers the apartment they will be living in. Instead I was shown one that didn't have any interstate noise and was assured my unit was the same. That is definitely not the case, as I can hear the interstate noise 24/7!
One good thing, for you, about these people being so sneaky and dishonest is I'm sure they will have a high turn over rate. This means you may get a good deal because they will probably have to offer move in ""specials"" to keep the occupancy high. Just be prepared to deal with a used car salesman when you show up and expect them to string you along and drain as much money from you as they possibly can.
Pros: Spacious living area
Cons: Poor management
