My fiance took my ring in to be appraised. They charged him $50 and told him that he would receive the appraisal in the mail in two weeks. After three weeks, he called because he had not received the appraisal yet. They said it would be another week. After another week, he called again because he still had not received it. They said it would be another week. I decided to call because I really need the appraisal to get the ring insured. I asked what was taking so long. The manager told me that they have been very busy and since my fiance did not buy the ring from there, it wasn't a high priority to get the appraisal done. Then he said, ""If you are unhappy, you can come in and get your money back."" I was just floored. Clearly, they did not care about getting any future business from us and they wasted five weeks of time when I could have gotten the ring appraised by an appraiser who actually cared about customer service.
Pros: No one else will be in the store - not very busy
Cons: Extremely Poor Customer Service
