Killington Hot-spot 5/18/2003

After a day on the slopes this is a great place to get a big dinner downstairs or have a few drinks on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Steaks, ribs, seafood with bread, soup and salad bar is in the $15-$25 range. The atmosphere is excellent in both the bar and resturant and the service is very good. If you eat dinner before heading upstairs you'll get free cover for the bar/band. A definte hot-spot. more

  • The Scene
Since 1963, the big gray barn known as the Wobbly has been the Northeast's source for the biggest, baddest and loudest parties. With its creaky walls, wide-open dance floor and second-floor loft, this local hotspot has become a legend in ski country.

    The Draw
During the winter season, the Wobbly opens daily at 3:30pm with live music, a free nacho bar and prize giveaways (which can include free ski and snowboard equipment). By 5pm, the place is jammed mostly with folks still in their gear. It's loud, wild and a must-do for anyone coming into town. It's no wonder every major ski magazine has picked the Wobbly as one of the best apres-ski spots in the world. While the crowd tends to thin out during the dinner hours, the joint gets jamming again around 9pm, typically with live bands, and doesn't stop rocking until the wee hours.
