Not the most up-to-date place to visit 8/22/2006

This museum is basically one large room, kept black, with benches around it. Your attention is directed around the room with the use of lights, as it tells the story about how the Salem Witch Trials began. I enjoyed it, mostly because I enjoy history. As far as Museums go, though, it was a big let down. more

Kitschy Fun, Tourist Trap 3/19/2006

It's easy to see how someone would think this was a tourist trap. There isn't much to it (you just sit in a big room with dioramas and a recorded voice and lights), but it does give you an overview of the witch trials. It's just a part of the whole Salem experience to visit this place. more

The mood thus was ruined. more
