Good school for learning no nonsense self defense 11/10/2005

There is class every evening and each runs about 2 hrs. long which can be good and bad. The good, is that you have more time and the bad you may not be able to put that much time in the evening especially when class starts at 7pm. Everyone does the same warmups and depending who you get to instruct you - it can be rewarding or not. I've been fortunate. Most of the people there are guys so , so for the women that is a deterrance. Also, it is in a warehouse, so you either get bitten alive by mosquitoes or you freeze to death in the winter. But overall, if you want to learn self defense, this is not a bad school Cons: hard to find, warehouse training , only guys there more

  • In Short
A real Japanese steakhouse conducive to a variety of occasions from family outings to business dinners to fun dates. A well-chosen, fresh selection of popular sushi and tempura. Try the spider roll (soft-shell crab artfully rolled in rice and seaweed paper) and the unagi nigiri (a ball of vinagered rice topped with sweet barbecued eel). The real beauty of Kanki's expertly prepared sushi is the speed in which it's delivered.
