We went snorkeling by the convention center and hit the waves at the beaches. Early checkin was $20 but if you get there in time you can catch the free breakfast.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, and if we were able to get the same $60/night rate that we had, we would definitely stay again! more

After spending time at the beach we checked in as a family. Its nice to be on the bay. The kids enjoyed the pool and we rested well watching movies together. Its simple, convenient, fun, and easy on the wallet. more

To begin with the outer looks of this hotel are unjust for the beauty that lies within. As my girlfriend and I pulled up, we thought that we had been fooled for the price. Athough when we walked into our king size suite and openend the back patio door, we were amazed by the picture perfect sunset over looking a few residential homes on the water. more

The pool was well kept and the hot tub was as well. Our room had a bay view on the 1st floor that was reaally pretty, we saw lots of fish & sea slugs, which we had never seen before. Staff was very friendly as well. Breakfast was the basics, a couple of different cereals, toast, waffles, & sunny d. the bed was very comfortable. We had a very pleasant stay. more

I'd definitely book it again 5/4/2012

My friends and I were wanting to take a quick little trip to the beach and wanted to make it as inexpensive as possible. Windwater Hotel was one of the cheaper hotels I found on the island, with walking distance to the beach. The bayside location was perfect for fishing. We caught something everyday we were there! The hotel room itself was a pleasant surprise. To be honest, I expected it to be a hole in the wall, for the price we paid, but it was clean and had all of the necesstities, ie refrigerator, microwave, table and two chairs, etc. The room and the grounds were kept up, even the swimming pool was nice and clean. I'd say this hotel is ideal for a quick, inexpensive trip to the beach. I'd definitely book it again. more

Absolutely loved it 4/24/2012

I stayed in a king with a sofa sleeper in the back where the sliding glass door opened to a nice patio on the water where my family and I fished and relaxed to a sweet little view in the evening. The bed and the sleeper were divided by the bathroom and kitchenette, both having there own T.V. So us adults enjoyed our evening while the children slept comfortable. We all absolutely loved it AND the price was perfect. So we had alot of extra money to do all the fun stuff on the island as well. We go all the time. Plus the staff are exceptional as well. more
