I was disappointed in the food......my burrito came with the primary ingredient being rice....and lots of it.....never associated burritos with rice in the first place....the over...

The best patio spot in Atlanta 2/5/2010

The location and patio is the difference maker here. Positioned right next to the east entrance to Piedmont park, it's probably the best spot in town to people (and dog) watch. Hang out long enough, and you might just spot the likes of the Midtown Pig, the dude with like 12 pit bulls, or the Ambassador of Mirth himself - Baton Bob. Obviously if you're looking for authentic Mexican this isn't your place, but for California style burritos and such, I consider the food at Willy's a step up from Moe's and Chipotle without stepping up in price. Great Burrito and Location 2/3/2009

The patio is the draw for this location. It's on Piedmont Park and is full of activity on weekends. It's a burrito place--not fancy and not stuffy. It's a great value and you can get healthy food if you want as well. Very very casual. They don't have liquor, just beer and wine. When it first opened it was predominantly a gay clinential, but now is more mixed. It's midtown so expect a live and let live crowd. Pros: Location and Value Cons: Parking more

Gigantic Burrito!! If you are hungry, like mexican food and want to be FULL , this is the perfect place! Great light hearted atmosphere with many different ingredients to choose from. Way better than lots of sit down Mexican restaurants and blows Moe's out of the water. Fresher, nicer and better value. Try it and you wont be disappointed. more

Good but no Moe's 7/28/2003

Willy's wins with their Piedmont Park location. The chicken and most toppings are better at Moe's but Willy's is a good substitute if it is what's close. Stay away from the Nachos...they never give you enough cheese. Pros: Burritos, Cheap, Location Cons: parking, no one speaks english, chicken is pasty more

I was disappointed in the food......my burrito came with the primary ingredient being rice....and lots of it.....never associated burritos with rice in the first place....the overwhelming taste was bland. Have not been back. more

healthy fast food 10/3/2002

My family has severe food allergies. Willy's is the only fast food place that we can all enjoy together. The food is super-fresh made even better by service with a smile. I especially recommend the tofu tacos. My husband, who used to be a confirmed meat man, even switched to tofu burritos at Willy's. Now that all the info is coming out on how fattening all the traditional fast food haunts are, we feel even smarter for finding Willy's, which is California-fresh Mexican food--not the greasy, icky stuff of a lot of Atlanta Mexican food joints. Good, quick, and cheap 7/31/2002

Willies is one of the best places in Atlanta to grab a quick, healthy bite to eat. I've never had a dish there that I did not like. The veggie burritos are great, and the tofu is marinated in a tasty sauce. All of the vegetables and sauces they use taste and look fresh. It is also among the cheapest of the burrito restaurants. Good, quick, and cheap. You can't ask for more! more

Green Mole Rules 5/30/2002

Great burritos in a great location. It's so nice having a cheap meal option on the Piedmont Avenue side of Piedmont Park. Get a burrito with green mole sauce--they'll put it on anything--find a shady spot in the park or just hang out on the patio. Willy's does charge extra for additions like olives so be careful when you order. more

Sometimes waiting in line is worth it 5/22/2002

Willy's (owned by a Tarheel!) has grown like a watered weed over the last few years. I recently stopped by this location on a Friday afternoon, only to run into a line out the door. Not happy upon seeing that, but once I had a cold beer and jumbo sized mole burrito in front of me, the line was forgotten. Highly recommneded.
