Needs some help 6/22/2004

My experience with the body treatment was being wrapped and left to sit by myself for more than 20 minutes. This happened in my facial also and the woman came back smelling like smoke. Not the best service.... more

Yummy massage 10/16/2002

I went in for a 90 minute massage with Teresa. After filling out a health history form, I went to the relaxing locker room area and changed into a robe and slippers, then waited in a cozy waiting area and had a complimentary hot tea. Teresa greeted me and showed me to a very cozy, dimly lit massage room. The music was relaxing, not annoying like some day spas. There was never a feeling of rushing. My massage was excellent and I even fell asleep a couple of times. Teresa listened to my requests for deep massage and specifically concentrated on the areas I asked. I was very happy! I finished with a shower and left completely relaxed. Pros: beautiful space, convenient location, kind therapist Cons: not inexpensive more

I was disappointed to find out, that although this salon is located in a predominately black neighborhood, they did not have a stylist that could do ""black"" hair. A well trained stylist, should be able to do any hair type. If anything, atleast basic things like washing and setting rollers. more
