Wild River Country

This is a great, family-oriented park. It has slides for the big kid at heart, the little kids and even a toddler pool with jumpin'jacks for the babes to get their feet wet in. The wave pool is great and their are tubes and lockers for rent too. Some rides can be single only, single or multiple riders and they have chute type slides where you don't need a tube at all. Food is reasonably priced, but the selection is limitted and the gift shop could use some help, but overall there are some great times to be had. more

Wild River Country is viewable from I-430 right after you travel north over the river bridge. The kids can't help but look and feast their eyes on the wonderland of this place. Wild River Country has been around for a long as I can remember and it seems that the ride and improvements and installments have kept up with the times. For a fair price for a water park you and your family can enjoy a nice time with a variety of different rides. The park offers about 10 different slides and rides, 2 small pools for kids and a Wave pool. Rather a treat for the kids or the parents I recommend Wild River Country. Night Water is a good wave to get your play in and knock off a good portion of the bill. Look for coupons at local businesses and online too! Our family usually goes to Night Water for about $12 apiece. more
