This man will never return your calls. When you try to rent from him, and it is hard to get a hold of him, that should have been our first warning. But my wife loved it, so I keep trying. It took him over 4 months and 3 different contractors to kix my water heater. 2 different contractors to look at my dishwasher, still never fixed it. The house is infested with roaches and waterbugs. We hired three different exterminators, and all of them stated that we would have to leave the house for 2 weeks while they bomb the house. You know where they put a machine out in the lawn and 10"" flex pipes running into the house! Tony refused to fix this. About 2 months after we moved in, my kids were always getting sick. I know that kids will get sick, that is what they do, but this was excessive! One of my friends runs a HVAC company, and he ran some tests on the A/C system. He found MOLD off of the cultures he used! No wander my kids were getting sick! more

Everyone has their own opinion & experience. Unfortunately, we can't tell by his/her review, if it is for real or not. Could be Mr. Whitfield attempting damage control for wronging people, for the eyes of any future tenants or owners. My family's experience wasn't good. more

Unprofessional Service! 3/13/2012

My husband and I applied for home through Whitfield Realty after speaking with a bank lender and having our credit review we know that we were a year off from being able to buy so renting for another year and going through a rent to own company seemed the way to go. Whitfield was very hard to get in contact with, which should have been red flag number one, red flag number two was all the personal information that was request, reg flag three was a call from my landlord stating that she wasn't comfortable answering all the person question he was asking her and she request he send her a form on company letterhead to be certain she was providing information to a company, which he decided not to send and simply just sent my husband and I an email saying not approved. more

This company takes chances to keep you in a home 1/3/2012

Thank you for taking care of my family. Out of 12 different rental companies, Whitfield was the only one that accepted our 4 kids ,4 dogs ,2 goldfish as well as our damaged credit. He did not ""take us to the cleaners"" and immediatly sent his crew to adjust anything necessary on the house. The best part is, WE HAVE A CHANCE TO OWN A HOME and repair our credit. Thats our new year goal! more

Tony will return your deposit. 11/15/2011

Tony gave me back my deposit after his walk through. I went to his office to turn in the keys and carpet cleaning receipt and he cut me a check on the spot! All you have to do is follow his lease and leave the house clean and ready to rent. That includes the yard. It's not that hard. Read your lease and if it is to much for you to follow do not sign it. He protects himself as I would. I have seen pictures of what people have done to his properties and don't blame him a bit. more

Thank you, Mr. Tony. He helped me and my family find a good house in a good neighborhood that we could afford. The nay-sayers on this blog just didn't read the lease or follow the rules. Mr. Whitfield has always been fair with us. more

I AM NOW A HOME OWNER!!! 10/28/2011

My husband and I are so greatful to Mr Whitfield and his company. He helped us get our credit straight and opened our eyes on responsible budgeting. My small family was down and out a year ago, but with some hard work ,we are now OWNERS of this home. This my home now with my cleaned up credit and reputation , my family has a home thats mine. If I was you I would not rent from this crook, Mr Whitfield He is a evil man and money hungrey. You will not get your deposit back, no matter how clean the place is. I have heard you have no choice and you need a place, well there is many places to rent that would treat you well. DO NOT RENT FROM HIM. HE IS A CROOK. unless you like to repair everything at your cost. more

A Nightmare. He wants you to FIX everything. Just read the lease very carefully. Take the lease home for review do not let him read it too you there he will not go over everything . Make sure you do a walk in checklist, don't just sign it you will see other items when you go to house and sorry you signed the paper. Your screwed. Repairs are on you. His famous words READ THE LEASE. You will not get your deposit back no matter how clean the place is. If you were like us and still signed you have to paint the walls even if they are not done for you of you don't put nothing on walls. Carpet cleaners and pests are by his company of choice with you given him the receipt. I guess he will use your receipt for taxes after you have paid for the services. I advice you to NOT rent from him. more
