APPALLING FUNERAL SERVICES. We initially received courteous treatment from Marilyn over the phone when one of us called from the Portland, Or area but once we arrived at the funeral home and had them take charge of my grandmothers funeral arrangements it was apparent that Whitehurst-Muller Funeral Services (specifically Rosalind) was treating this difficult process like a "car sales" transaction with no compassion whatsoever. After many frustrating moments with Rosalind we where taken back by what appears to be a final strike against our grandmother, family, and religious beliefs. They printed an appalling obituary which was translated into Spanish (something we never asked for) with incorrect spelling, grammar errors, incorrect chronology calculations, and most insulating classifying my grandmother as a "fanatical" servant to God. If you read Spanish you can see this for yourself by visiting this Salinas Californian's website and typing in Dejanira Termutiz Gonzalez With at least two other funeral services in Salinas my family would recommend STAYING AWAY from Whitehurst-Muller Funeral Service unless you like the "car salesman" treatment during your most anguished moments.
