Excellent Service 8/19/2010

The man working (possibly the owner?) was really kind and friendly. I needed two pairs of heels for work repaired. I thought I would have to leave one pair at a time so that I could wear the other to work in the meantime. Instead, he offierred to fix both pairs (just needed a heel tip repalacement) while I waited. I was surprised - most places take at least a few days. It was really inexpensive and I would definitely recommend this place to anybody needing this type of service. more

Superb Customer Service 9/1/2009

I went to Westport Shoe Repair to have an inexpensive purse repaired. The owner explained why the strap broke so easily (vinyl was sewed through, forming perforations). He said he could fix it with vinyl but that I would probably have the same problem in a short time. He suggested leather as a long-lasting alternative. The cost was reasonable. It was repaired in about a week, and I was thrilled with the work. The owner is an extremely pleasant man, and I will definitely take other repair jobs to Westport. Pros: Excellent Repair more

Shoe repair 3/31/2009

He is a fantastic cobler, and I know it is a one man shop (I think) but 7 out of the 10 times I have been past this shop, to drop off or pick up, over 6 months, it has been closed for one reason or another. (He is closed on Mondays, I understand that). He does amazing work, but make sure you call ahead before you venture out. Pros: Good old fashion cobler work Cons: Frustrating though more

THIS IS THE PLACE TO GET YOUR SHOES REPAIRED! 7/23/2008

I RECOMMEND THIS SHOE REPAIR SHOP TO EVERYONE. THEY WERE INVENTIVE WHEN I ASK TO CHANGE HOW A SHOE WOULD STAY ON MY FOOT AND WERE EXTREMELY COURTEOUS. I HAD TO BRING MY DOG INSIDE AND THEY WERE VERY NICE TO THE DOG TOO. I LOVED THE WORK THAT I HAD DONE AND THEY WERE RESONABLE TOO. I THOUGHT SHOE REPAIR SHOP WERE A THING OF THE PAST AND I AM SO GLAD TO SEE THAT THEY ARE NOT AND THIS PARTICULAR SHOP I HAVE ALREADY TURNED ON TO MY FAMILY AND THEY ARE NOW TAKING THEIR SHOES, PURSES, ETC...TO THIS SHOP.
