Cool Museum on the Lake 8/16/2005

This museum is pretty good for Tuscaloosa as it has some really unique pieces including original paintings of George Washington. If you are ever up by the yacht club you should stop by at least once and see all the pieces on display. The reason I took off one star is because the organization is kind of chaotic, as it is just like they placed all the pieces in random locations, if they took some time to come up with a good organization this would be an awesome museum. I really like the building and the view is very scenic. The lake is a cool place to visit also. more

A Little Known Wonderful Museum 8/8/2005

This museum is awesome. It is inside the North River Yacht Club neighborhood. It is owned by Jack Warner (probably the wealthiest man in Tuscaloosa) He has many masterpieces; including works by John Singer Sargent, Thomas Cole and many other greats. I think the admission in $5, but I am not sure. I highly recommend going and checking it out. more
