The front office staff are low-class losers that discriminated against me when I lived in their apartments. When they spoke to me they used thinly veiled sarcastic cut-downs and criticism. As an ethnic minority I felt discriminated against and harassed by these low-class losers. They didn't want me there in their apartment complex. I could tell by how pathetic their customer service was. And they even spread nasty rumors about me that later got back to me. I was very offended to learn about what the apartment staff had been saying about me. I'd never experienced that in my life. I don't have any evictions or warnings in my records. And I tend to befriend almost everyone at all of the apartments I've been to in the past. At other apartments people are friendly. They wave, smile, and start up conversations. This apartment has no such community. The people are trashy bigots at best. I've even heard rumors about gang-stalking. And that type of hostility usually only happens in small towns in the south. Well apparently it happens in Austin, Texas too.
Everything I went through reflects very poorly on their intelligence. They clearly do not have any intelligence or professional skills. They also spy on you and ask you personal questions that are none of their business. One time the office manager called me on the phone to accuse me about not returning a DVD to their video library. That was six weeks after I had turned it back in. She was mistaken and found the DVD where it belonged. When I tried moving out I was treated in a very suspicious manner and talked down to in an accusatory way. That made me wonder what type of unethical and low-class activities the office staff were involved in. They certainly look suspect to unethical activities.
Living in the apartment is terrible because most of the neighbors are very creepy. None of the neighbors wave and say ""Hello"". None of the neighbors are friendly nor do they appear normal. Most of the neighbors have glazed over eyes and a creepy long distance stare. Sometimes I was glared at in a hostile manner by certain neighbors. I thought that type of redneck behavior only happened in small towns in Alabama. At 3 AM in the morning on weekdays the neighbors would talk really loud outside my window. Somebody once placed a brick on the outdoor air-condition unit to make shrieking noises when it turned on in the summer. The apartment had roaches. The walls are paper-thin. You can literally hear the neighbors from upstairs urinate and pass wind. The water is occasionally turned off for days in order to fix the water-pipes that always seem to need repair. They failed to notify the residents when the majority of the washing machines broke down. And they didn't refund my laundry money after I figured that out. The parking lot is covered in potholes and a few of the car sheds are severely deformed. It takes more than 30 minutes to arrive on campus if you want to take the UT bus shuttle. The bus is often cramped and many of the UT Austin students have bad body odor.
This is a terrible apartment complex. And the people that live there, mostly UT Austin students, are horrible, trashy, weird, low-class, and criminal minded. Everybody there looks like a drug addict or like they have psychosis. It appears that alcohol or drug abuse has rendered most of the neighbors psychologically retarded. One time somebody left a rude note on the washing machine that I was trying to use. Then they opened up the washing machine so that my clothing wouldn't wash when I had left the area. Avoid this place and avoid this part of the city. All of the people look criminal at best. And to be honest Austin isn't that good of a city. The people are too backward, redneck, racist, and severely demented. They are in denial about their racism and make up excuses for their incompetence. There is something criminal going on in that part of the city. And people should avoid it at all costs.
Cons: Nasty, Rude, Deceitful, and Criminal Minded Employees.
