West Side offers great cocktails in a classy, comfortable atmosphere 5/16/2006

West Side Lounge quickly has quickly become my go-to place for delicious cocktails in a comfortable environment. The place itself is a bit upscale without feeling stuff and is a great choice for anything from a date to just hanging out with a group of friends. The bartenders and staff are friendly and helpful without being overly casual or intrusive. The menu items are reasonably priced and worth the money. Food is delicious, particularly the goat cheese and pears. The drinks are classics with a twist and never fail to please. The blueberry mojito is a stand out and a perfect summer treat. more

Great Lounge 2/4/2006

It seems like the latest trend in Boston nightlife is the lounge scene and the West Side Lounge is an excellent example of this- though it was around before the trend became official. The cozy interior of this lounge is the perfect place to kick back amongst the sophisticated crowd. The drinks and bar menu are fairly priced and the the atmosphere is awesome for a start or an end to a night on the town. more

Best Mojitos! 7/5/2005

If you want to go to a cozy bistro near Harvard/Porter square, try the West Side Lounge. They have a tiny winy Tuesday special where you can get 3 martinis for $15! However, my favorite is their mojito! Try a royal mojito - it's mojitos with champagne! more

Best Restaurant for the Price 4/18/2005

This is my favorite restaurant in MA. Great cocktails. All the dinner entres are tasty. (Particularly the Seared Scallops on a Mushroom Ragout and the Seared Tuna with Wasabi Mashed Potatoes.) This is where I take all of my out-of-town friends when they come to visit. more
