Worst

Ok, the food is not even close to good. The sides are not on the menu, I understand that the sides change daily but don’t write them in chalk on support columns. Even worse there ...

Great food at reasonable prices! Theme is southern style but with panache. Almost every entree has an extra ""chef's touch"" added that makes it unique and very tasty. Both the squash and broccoli casseroles are excellent, some of the best I've tasted.\r \r We've been there three times in the past month and always happy with the service and food quality. I've been trying different entrees each time and, so far, have not been disappointed. There can be a wait at prime dinner time on almost any day but it's worth it. Get there a little early and avoid the wait if you can. \r more

Delicious Southern Cooking! 6/2/2011

I eat at the West Cobb Diner regularly and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and the food is fabulous! I particularly love the Pan Seared Sirloin with Blue Cheese Butter - it has ruined other steaks for me based upon the over-whelming goodness that is the blue cheese butter. They have amazing salads, classic down-home sides that taste like what your old southern grandma would make with a hand-me-down family recipe. I could rave for hours but the bottom line is: go there yourself. You won't regret it! Note: like many restaurants that serve tasty food, there can be a bit of a wait on Friday and Saturday nights. For the best experience, try stopping in on a week night or come by a little later. :) more

Horrible 7/6/2010

Ok, the food is not even close to good. The sides are not on the menu, I understand that the sides change daily but don’t write them in chalk on support columns. Even worse there are tables around the columns so when you are reading what the sides are it feels like you are staring the people at the tables. Only the OM’s rant and rave about this place. If you want real Marietta food that is fresh and well cooked go to the Fruit Stand. Pros: Nothing Cons: Food, service and menu more

I don't get it 3/8/2010

This place is getting rave reviews. I don't get it. I had country fried steak that had so much gristle in it I could hardly eat it. I would have sent it back but the ""half hour wait"" the hostess told us about, turned into an hour and a half wait. I was starving. Collard greens tasted like they had been soaking in vinegar for a week and lima beans tasted like they dumped a pound of salt on them. I sent them a letter describing my experience and never even heard back from them. Pros: Big portions Cons: Long wait, poor quality more
