West Wind Las Vegas 5 Drive-In

I used to love the West Wind drive in. It's not expensive and you can bring in your own snacks and soda. BUT, during busy season (spring and fall before the temperatures get too high), they often delay movies UP TO 40 MINS! I recently went to see a movie and the line at the box office was still long, so they delayed the movie 10 mins. After 10 mins, they delayed it another 10 mins. So, 20 mins later (mind you, we arrived an hour before the movie), they delayed the movie YET AGAIN. I don't think this is appropriate. ANY other walk-in movie theater will not delay a movie because of a long line at the box office, so WHY should the drive-in delay it for people who got there on time? Very disappointing. the weather in las vegas!!!!!! no other places can beat that, especially spring time.. we love all the screens, sounds and pictures are getting better. we hope they never closes this place, because we love night out with lounge chairs and bring our favorite food,buy popcorn ,hot dogs,candy and soft drinks at the food court. yes...very safe.....needs dark drape to cover the lights from casino and the airport, bur other then that, it is great place to see a movies with your family or with your friends. thanks....jrw Pros: parking, location, Cons: back lights, picture needs to be lighter more

Being the ""Only"" Drive-In left in Las Vegas, it's got to be ""The Best!"" I can honestly say the movies they play are ""THE BEST!"" The selection is ""GREAT"", the prices are "" BEYOND DOUBT, THE BEST BUY FOR THE PRICE"", and the location is pretty good. There are however three bad points of this drive-in. One, is that the size of each lot needs to be larger. Two, is the roads need repair. The worst one is Three, ""Those ""NIGHT LIGHTS from the casino, storage rooms, etc.! They need to install backdrops under the screens to cut out these lights! All in all, we love it!! We got at least once a week and sometimes twice.
