Had signature hvac take a look at my a/c system. They tried to sell me a new system. Told me it was a failed compressor. Scott was the technician. Got a free second from wesley wood. Turns out it was just a bad breaker. Saved me thousands. Dont believe the hype with signature. more

I worked with Doug Daily who bent over backwards for me at a difficult time this past winter when I had a pipe burst and water ruined my furnace and hot water heater. Doug was very professional and I would not hesitate to call him for professional advice and installation. I have been with Wesley Wood for years, and I never had a problem with service. Their technicians and staff are top notch! more

There has been a considerable decline in performance. I was a long time customer with service contracts on three properties for the past 10 years. This winter I was scheduled three times for a service call. For the first one, they called and informed me they would not be arriving as promised and rescheduled me for 3 weeks later at a time recommended by them. This time I received no call when they did not show up. I called them and they told me they were sorry and rescheduled me once again for a week from that date. As you can guess they never showed up and when I called, after now planning on being home on three separate occasions, they had no record of the appointment (which they had suggested). I have decided to find another contractor. I would have given no stars if I could have. more

Terrible,terrible experience.Came to service my AC which had started to leak water. Took an hour to open unit, pour a bottle of water in, declare unit OK, and close it up. Apparently I had cleared a blockage in the condensate line while waiting 2 days for them. Charged me $200 for this non-repair. Paid with credit card because I didn't want to spend time arguing with them. Month later start getting bills which I ignored, and then nasty letters from so called Collection Agent. Called SE to waste my time arguing anyway. Could not get to speak to manager, and wasted a day waiting for them to call me. Called them again and got manager to apologize profusely. Big deal. You can't pay more for lousy service. Oh, and their web site has all five star testimonials, but does not allow you to write a review\r \r Frank McMenamin\r West Chester, Pa. more

WORST SERVICE EVER...THEY ""rigged"" my heater in january and told me they would call back with pricing on parts to fix ....Well no one called. We then put on air on and used the shut off that the sercive guy ""rigged"" and it shut off our condensation pump....FLOODING MY BASEMENT. The end result was 13 phone calls to customer service and every manager in the place. I also spoke to GM....Inow have a sneaky suspicion why the company is on the track it is on after speaking with him. I have also called corporate 3 times. No callbacks---referred back to same GM up here in PA No one cares. Your money is best spent with another company in my opinion. Did I mention I was with them for over a decade...first major problem and they ran from it instead of engaging it and taking care of it like a reputable company. Sad really. Hopefully I can make it through the ""matrix"" and speak to an owner to let them know how mismanaged they really are...especially in PA ..I believe out of West Chester area.\r \r MJG more

Still waiting for our ac to be fixed since 5/22. Three guys have been out. The first guy said the manager would call us with a quote on the part. Never called. Called 3 times and never got a call back from Jim- whoever that is. Finally my husband got through and they said the part had been in but they never called us and told us. One with the part that said we didn't need it. Then the ac stopped working. another guy came the next day without the part after we told him to bring the part and had no idea why he was coming. Their customer service is terrible. I spoke with the GM on Monday and she said she would look into it and call me back. Never called back. We called numerous times and never could get a call back from a person to tell us what was going on. My husband spoke to someone Monday and they reordered the part and now we have to wait again. I spoke to someone today, asked for the GM who never returned my call- but she did not come to the phone. they said the part was still on order. We're just about done with this company and I would never recommend them to anyone. more

But I can say that the technician that does the work has been on time or ahead of schedule at the time of each inspection. He is does his work promptly and cheerfully. So far I am very satisfied. more

Two thumbs up 5/9/2012

As a 4 time homeowner over a 30 year period, I've used more than 6 separate companies in that time. I called Signature on the suggestion of a neighbor when we first moved to West Chester and the experience with them was excellent. The technician who arrived was professional, polite, knew what he was doing and there wasn't a need to call them back to ""fix the fix."" The billing was very reasonable and they didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. Also, they apparently know how to install geothermal systems which, if you don't know, is about as close to getting ""free"" energy as you can get. Try to find another local firm that truly understands geothermal AND traditional HVAC! If I sell this place and build a home, I'll definitely be calling these guys to design a system. I don't normally write reviews for anything or anyone, but I have to put my 2 cents in on this company. Also, they aren't owned by some large corporate parent that demands increasing sales every quarter. They seem to be locally owned by reputable people. I give them two thumbs up. more

Everyone went above and beyond with the installation of our new system. Bob did a great job of reviewing all our options with us, while helping us address some of the problems we’ve had with our existing system. The installers were courteous, clean and very professional. Customer service was a mess 6/1/2011

Unfortunately this company bought out the original company that installed my heat pump less than five years ago.. The management had an attitude and when they did come out they said they did not bring the proper tools to fix the problem.they would have to make another visit($$$$). When we called and asked about this we were told we were cancelled for another visit by management.Extremely unproffesional people from customer service to mangement.Do your self a favor and find a more reliable company. more

Nice people, but they just want your money 4/12/2011

Do not go to this company! They tell you a certain price and then they arrive and charge you a different amount (they added on some energy charge for me). They installed a new heat pump for me 2 years ago. It is giving me problems and it is also tilted. They told me that it was not their problem and they refused to fix it. Terrible company. Find someone else for heating and cooling purposes! I do admit they are nice people when they come out. Just overpriced and poor service. more

I have to disagee with the reviews placed before mine. I had a similar experience below, in which i have 12 year old unit and a technician (i cannot recall his name) came to my home at 1000pm to see what was wrong. When he came out, it turns out i had a bad motor as well. The specific motor needed for my system was not stocked on his truck (which is understandable beings that they promote ""SERVICE on all makes and models 24/7"".....not moving parts van. The technician had the parts ordered the next morning ( which the office called to confirm) and it was repaired that same day. If that is not accomodating i dont know what is. I cant say i agree with a review that says because a part is not stocked on the technicians truck, that this is an awful company??? Not to mention if you have a unit that is 10yrs old and it was 20 degrees, the fact that a repair needed to be made is quite understandable I would think. If i were you i would look into that replacement they were telling you about before you end up spending thousands of more dollars on repairs to your unit!!!! more

Another horrible review for this awful company 1/17/2011

I'LL NEVER USE WESLEY WOOD AGAIN!!! The thermostat dial broke off my heater at the end of November. I had a technician come out the first week of December, named Dan, who charged me $90 to tell me that he needed to order a new dial and that he'd let me know when it came in in about a week. 3 weeks after that I had not heard a word about it, and received a random customer service call to see how I'd liked the service. I explained to the agent that I had not in fact received full service, and explained to her that apparently there had been a part ordered, and had not heard a word since. She called the WC office and spoke with Amanda, who told her she'd be calling me back ""shortly"" with an update--I never received a call from her, either. Today, I tried once again to contact them, and got in touch with Jeff at the call center, who spoke with Ron at the WC office, who told Jeff he'd look into it and call me in an hour. 1 1/2 hours later with no word, I contacted the call center AGAIN, and spoke with Carissa, who tried AGAIN to get in touch with someone at the WC office--the man did not give her his name, but then hung up on her. Carissa then finally patched me through to Amanda who basically apologized for things ""falling through the cracks"" and told me she'd reimburse my technician fee--in 3-4 weeks!! \r \r I'm super fed up with this inexcusable service, and will not use them for anything ever again. I hope they lose customers because of this horrible display of business services.\r \r . more

find someone else 1/8/2011

I had a similar experience. My furnace is only 10 years old, signed up for the service plan,. The furnace stopped working a few nights ago it was about 20 degrees out. Technician came out and told me he did not have the part to fix it (inducer motor) and it would have to be ordered through trane on monday. Also told me it was time for a new lennox furnace. At this point im very frustrated, asked him why I signed up for a service plan if he does'nt have the parts to fix it. He said they do not carry inducers on trucks. I said but the side of your truck says you service all brands 24/7, he says they don't even carry lennox inducers on trucks. I said why would I buy another contract or furnace from you? Please leave. Called another contractor, gave them my credit card info, had heat that weekend. Fought for my money back on the contract. All they want to do is sell new equipment and leave you in the cold, thumbs down! more

DO NOT USE! 11/14/2010

Do NOT use! Wesley Wood was bought out by Lennox and is no longer the company they once were! Our heat pump gave out and we were told ""the circuit board was fried"". Since our system is 14 years old it was recommended to replace the whole system. Long story short, got a second opinion. Was able to have heat with the replacement of a $5 fuse and $110 conductor! They are only interested in making high priced repairs and new sales! The Wood family would be wise to buy their name back from Lennox; it is being ruined! more
