Wegmans Food Pharmacy

The large Wegman's location on Monroe Ave in Pittsford is affectionately known as the "Super Wegman's" or sometimes the "Disney Wegman's." It is truly huge, and offers almost everything you could need in the course of your average week. The produce section is large and carries many exotic items along with the standards. (Although, I was dismayed to learn they were out of fresh ginger on a recent visit. I'm sure thats an anomaly.) They bakery and meat/seafood sections are large and very well stocked. In the middle of the store is a mini-housewares department with some cooking gadgets, cookware and dishware. I was amazed to see that they carry high quality brands like All-Clad and Le Creuset! Despite having a huge parking lot, it can be hard to find a spot at peak shopping hours. The store also gets quite crowded at times, and can be hard to get around. However, it is a great place to shop if you go during off hours. (i.e.- avoid Saturday mornings and weekdays 5-7PM) more

This has got to be one of the best grocery stores ever. It is always clean and the shelves are almost always stocked. I can find anything i need to make almost any kind of dish. There was a time that I couldnt eat dairy or soy and Wegmans carried foods that I could eat. I was so relieved to find things that didnt contain either. more

Wegmans is one of those stores that you can find any type of food that you are looking for. Wegmans is known for having the absolute freshest produce around and they also have great meat. Recently they have introduced a bulk section. I hope that this section will grow and they will put more in that section. Wegmans also has a fast and friendly pharmacy that can fill any prescription you need. more

This store has anything that a person could possibly want. They carry so many different items; from kosher, to organic, to flowers, to silverware and china... they do it all. It is one stop shopping for sure! There is plenty of parking, but if you go during peak times (after work, saturday and sunday mornings) you will probably have a bit of a walk. The customer service here is outstanding... the best I have ever seen in my life. There is always somebody there to help with even the littlest things. It is outstanding!! more

Not only can u get a shoppers discount card for specials every week, you can save allot of money in every area of the store. The offer great services to the public, they are also helping ones in need and offer a wide variety of services and programs to the public too.
