Wedding Bands & Co has a mildly deceptive name. They are wonderful creative artists, backed up by a team of highly skilled craftsman. They will custom design your perfect jewelry. They include you all the way through the design process, and make your jewelry for you right there on site finished to perfection. Buying an engagement/wedding ring set from them was not only a pleasure, but also one pleasent surprise after another. The final result could not have been better. I am most impressed by the way that when I said "maybe these stones could be a little larger and the sizes vary and only 3 instead of 5", they came back with "no problem, we can do that". Resizing a Family Heirloom 5/26/2010

I recently brought a family heirloom to Wedding Bands & Co, my great grandmother's ring from her wedding in 1923! The ring was a size 10 (yes, Gram was a big lady!), and I needed to find a jeweler who could resize the ring to fit me (size 6 1/4) without losing the beautiful design and- most importantly- the precious engraving on the inside of the ring, "EJ to EM, Dec 12, '23". Wedding Bands & Co. did an outstanding job- far exceeding my expectations! The engraving and design were perfectly preserved. I am so happy and highly recommend this jeweler! more

Great Service and Wonderful Designs 5/3/2010

What a great experience! Very relaxed and informative. I spent quite a bit of time reviewing and learning about the different stones. Then, when it came time to look at settings. They were beautiful, true works of art, that were unique as well. A great experience. Excellent service 4/27/2010

I went to wedding bands recommended by one of my friends who had purchased an engagement ring from them. I decided to to check them out and was really impressed with the friendly service and the way they explained and answer all of my doubts and questions that I had. They made me feel real comfortable and I decided to purchase my ring from them. Koorosh and Oscar were really patient with me. We went though a really huge selection of rings that they have in their showroom until we found the one, Oscar also was extremely helpful when it came to choosing the center stone. They were really fast in their service and it was a real simple process or at least that's how they made feel. These guys are excellent, I highly recommend them to anyone who has never purchased an engagement ring. I was pleased with everything and my fiancee was as well. The even re-sized her ring after I gave it to her to make sure that it wouldn't fall and I am happy because she loves her ring. Thanks guys! Pros: Friendly staff and fast service more

AMAZING 4/23/2010

A year ago, Wedding Band and Co. helped me and husband design our engagement ring and our wedding bands. When we start we didn't know what we want or what we are doing and also we don't know anything about diamond. Koorosh and Oscar use their time to explain to us about diamonds and they even explain all the different shape gives you different brilliance. They have so much patience for us and chosen the round brilliance. They had design my ring with CAD. I still love my ring as much as the first day I got it. Highly recommend as a Jeweler if someone need one located in downtown. Now, after a year we are back for my anniversary band. All the friendly faces are still there and the excellent customer service. They check all the diamond on my engagement and wedding rings. They polish my ring for me and they look like the first day I got them. I just got my anniversary band today. The ring is perfect for me. Great experience! Excellent work! Definitely coming back for our wedding bands 4/19/2010

My husband purchased my engagement ring from them. The quality of the diamond is phenomenal and the custom design they did on my ring was just the way i wanted it, exquisite and delicate. Great Place for top of the line jewelry and affordable!! 4/15/2010

I came back to Wedding Bands to buy a Birthday gift for my wife. I had come before to change the battery on my watch and was really happy with the service they provided and I really liked the jewelry they have. The prices were affordable for what they are offering and they made sure I left happy. I really recommend you to visit this jewelry store I would say is a hidden gem in downtown Chicago. Incredibly Helpful, Amazing Design Work 4/10/2010

I walked into Wedding Bands & Co. without any prior knowledge of the business or the process of buying an engagement ring. I have done some research online and visited a few jewelry stores, but this was the first time that I felt like the people were interested in helping me find a ring that was beautiful, but still within my price range. I really appreciated how up front the employees were about pricing, because it didn't waste anybody's time. I was given a tour of the facilities, I was able to see the actual drawing board, the CAD system, and a ring in the polishing process. I sat down with Koorosh, the chief designer, and came up with a design that I was envisioning in my head (or my girlfriend's). The ring is being finished now, and I can't wait to see the final product. I would definitely recommend Wedding Bands & Co., especially to anybody who is young and looking for a non-intimidating shopping experience. Poor craftsmenship 4/9/2010

They were very friendly to my fiancee and I while we custom designed our wedding rings. They didn't use CAD the first time around on either ring, and we were not happy with how the rings looked. The measurements were off, uneven. So we went back and had them re-made this time using CAD. Do not order a tension setting from here. My fiance had one made and the diamond fell out in two days. We are very lucky we found it on the ground. We had to have each ring re-made, twice. Once they re-sized mine they smashed it and it had an awful bend in it. Many trips to jewlers row and it was just annoying. At least we got a good price. I would not recommend this jeweler. They have great prices and are friendly to gay couples. Everything is Stunning!!! 3/19/2010

I recently accompanied a friend who was purchasing a custom made engagement band from Wedding Bands & Co. WOW! First of all the designs are out of this world. They had two wax models made for my friend to pick from. They both were the most beautiful rings I had ever seen.\r \r Second, while I was lurking around waiting for the choice to be made I saw a few strands of pearls. Koorosh took the time to explain the diffenece of quality to me and show me how well the strands were matched and made. \r \r I ended up leaving with a gorgeous gift for a beautiful girl. great service, amazing rings, peaceful experience 3/17/2010

My wife and I found Wedding Bands & Co. in Jewelers row when we were shopping for rings. The moment we walked in, we both knew they were the ones to create our sacred bands. Oscar showed us hundreds of samples, and worked with us to design and create the perfect set. We never felt pressure, never felt like he was trying to ""sell"" us anything. He helped us incorporate stones from my grandmother's ring and my wife's mother's ring to make something that far surpassed our predictions. Before we ever gave them a dime, he and the staff created 7 different renderings of what they would look like. When the final product was ready, we were speechless. You know she loves her ring when you catch her gazing at it without knowing she is. Thank you Oscar and design crew. more

The most beautiful wedding ring i've ever seen 3/17/2010

My husband and I absolutely loved our experience with Wedding Bands & Co (especially working with Oscar). I had no clue on the type of wedding ring that would be perfect for me. In the beginning, I thought the process would be overwhelming -- there are so many decisions that go into designing a ring that will last a lifetime. Oscar guided us through the process of picking the style, the choice of metal, gram weight, etc. based on my personality and lifestyle. Oscar made sure to include us throughout the entire process from the original CAD drawings (with numerous revisions), to the wax mold, and all the way to the finish line of receiving the most amazing wedding ring that I've ever seen. Every day is a joy to wear my wedding ring and I am vain enough to say that I love the ""oohs and aahhs"" that I often get on my ring from total strangers. The Wedding Bands & Co have will definitely design my next custom piece of jewelry. I am a customer for life!!!? more

Love Wedding Bands & Co 3/17/2010

My husband and I got our wedding bands and engagement rings here. I picked out one of Koorosh's designs from the case and then had him alter it slightly to make it uniquely mine. The ring designs are beautiful and Koorosh will work with you until you have something that you love. I still stop in regularly three years later to have my rings cleaned for free. We definitely recommend you using Koorosh for your ring design. Not only are they extremely knowledgeable and use state of the art computer programs, but they do everything to make your ring exactly how you want it. For example, we were not sure about the height of the stone. Koorosh ended up doing two wax models to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. Another thing was we had our initials formed into the metal underneath the stone. On first design we didn’t like the font of the lettering and they had no problem changing the design. Its details like these that made us life customers. more
