Great for the local Sailors 5/1/2012

This is a fun place to go to because the booths are made out of gib sails. I am a sailor and it is really cool to be in a great environment of all about sailing. That includes all of the pictures of the previous Mackinaw races down to the local beer can races. This once used to be a bar only for the sailors up to Burhnam Harbor, but it has brought in the locals since the neighborhood has built more residential. I think I am going to promote a Christmas Party for my employees at the Weather Mark Tavern. That would be very fun. Thank you. more

Great laid back atmosphere any night of the week 2/26/2010

Love going to this place after work to unwind. The atmosphere is laid back and the service is good. They are very accommodating to groups. Pros: great beer and burger special Monday nights Cons: the south loop is up and coming, but hasn't quite made it more

The incredible gourmet food selections coupled with a great tap makes this a must if you live in and around the south loop area. Also, great atmoshphere once football season starts. Pros: Food & Drink Selection, Ambience more

Great Food, layed (they won't let me spell it right) back atmosphere 12/28/2006

This is a great addition to the south loop neighborhood. Food is good, drinks are good and atmosphere is nice. I like the sailing theme. It is never crowded which is actually one of the things that I like about it. I am sure that will change. The only downside to this place is the oddity that they do not take American Express. As a result, I do not go there as often as I normally would as I put everything on my amex! Pros: atmosphere, not crowded, clean and realtively smoke free Cons: no Amex? more
