We were seated immediately upon entering the restaurant. Our waitor was attentative and informative. Unfortunately, the food was sub-par. The calamari was too salty and the breading was flaky, while the sauce did not compliment the appetizer. The overly-priced crab cakes were not seasoned enough and included a grocery-type thousand island dressing (not much culinary creativity went into that). Moving onto the entrees - mixed seafood was tasteless, unedible, and salmon was dry. The texture of the monk fish was overdone, and shrimp would have been better left off the dish. The only shade of highlight that can be expressed is the escolar. The escolar dish was good, but not $26 good. At the end of the night, we decided to continue our dining elsewhere.
Pros: Great way to throw away money
Cons: Food. Cannot be classified as fine-dining or anywhere close.
