Waterfront Banquet and Convention Center

Good: The table settings are nice. The bartender was spectacular!!! Knew what he was doing and was very personable. Saw the staff was behind in clearing tables and stepped right in to help.. Bad: Everything else. Food was cold and skimpy. Service was the worst I've encountered in a very long time. Very few guests were offered hors d'oeuvres - maybe 15%. Only a few tables were served the shrimp cocktail appetizer. Salad was limp. No water, no coffee, music was way too loud even after the host asked that it be turned down. A place where you really do not get what you pay for. Every time the DJ said something an ad for the Waterfront was included - no class.. Improvements: New manager would be a good start. This place needs to revamp the entire system. People end up paying too much for too little.. Other: Would not recommend having any celebration at the Waterfront.. more

Nice place, very classy. A little too dark of decor for my taste. And a little on the pricey side. If you are looking to celebrate a special occasion on the quiet side, this is the place to go. The bar is beautiful. Ample parking and there is handicapped access. more
