I have been a patient of Dr. Warner since high school. They are pretty impersonal if you aren't pregnant, but once I was pregnant I was glad I was a patient. I had an uncomplica...

Worst

I, like many other patients like the clinicians, but the front desk and back end experiences leave a-lot to be desired! I have had to dispute incorrect charges several times over....

WONDERFUL DOCTOR, MARGINAL SERVICE 12/30/2010

Good: I have been Dr. Warner's patient for more than a decade. Now a grandmother of 7, my menopause questions were always handled patiently and gracefully, and my choices were clearly explained. I have been kept waiting (along with other disgruntled patients) too long at time--particularly after calling and being told that that the days' appointments were on time. I understand that gynecologists can be thrown off schedule by a birth, but I wish their office staff would let me know when they're running late.. Bad: Their new system of having patients call a service for test results sucks. Using that system requires putting your social security system on-line or on the phone, a practice that begs for fraud. Perhaps just the last 4 numbers instead????. Improvements: Truth in advertising. I am a working writer, and resent sitting for a hour awaiting an appointment after calling the office and being told that Dr. Warner is "on time.". Other: My bottom line is quality of medical care, which seems top-flight to me. Dr. Warner is a careful and attentive listener, which I consider the hallmark of a fine physician. The practice should funnel a little more money into their office procedures, making them more patient friendly. The staff is fine; their procedures are not.. more

Impersonal and BAD Billing Experiences 12/10/2010

I, like many other patients like the clinicians, but the front desk and back end experiences leave a-lot to be desired! I have had to dispute incorrect charges several times over. I had been charged for a procedure I know I didn't receive. When I called the office, they were less than helpful. After being a patient there for approx 8 years and several procedures later, there is just no personal touch at any level of the practice (office staff to clinicians). While clinically the care has been excellent, this office fails in other other regards. more

Great doctors, bad bureacracy 1/23/2009

I've been a patient of Dr. Kim for over 2 years. Dr. Walker delivered my baby. I have found both of them to be highly competent, well-educated, and approachable. The nurses have always been highly professional and warm. While I would describe the experience once you're in the practice as excellent, making an appointment and especially getting access to a person (in a non-emergency) are a challenge. The phone system is complicated and you're often stuck leaving a message, which may or may not be returned on a timely basis. It is also very difficult to get an appointment when you're not pregnant. The office has confused my billing information on occasion. I hope they will improve their administrative side to meet the doctor's excellent qualifications. more

Third baby here--great care 9/5/2008

I am on my third child with this practice, and have received nothing less than stellar care. In fact, I'm quite surprised at these reviews? Perhaps the billing was mixed up as they went "paperless" in the last year? My first daughter was "regular" delivery, second c-section--I recommend Dr. Pellar most highly--she's caring, knowledgeable and takes the time to answer all my questions. more

I wouldn't recommend this practice to friends 10/26/2007

I was quite happy with Dr. Kim, but overall I was very disappointed in the customer service at the practice. I was asked to wait 45 minutes at least for each appt, once for an hour and a half. It's been 3 years since my last appointment there and I can still hear the on-site ultrasound nurse saying a very insincere "Sorry, honey" to inform me that my pregnancy was in fact a soon-to-be miscarriage. Then my husband and I were shuffled into a patient room and waited another 45 minutes (in agony) for Dr. Kim, who seems incredibly capable, but not very warm. Add to that the fact that there were errors with my billing and the practice still owes me money for the procedures associated with the miscarriage.... Which is an event I have to be reminded of each time I call to complain. more

Lax Customer Care 5/21/2007

Much as I initially liked Dr. Kim, my gynecologist with this practice, I recently "fired" her out of utter frustration. While the medical care I received seemed good enough (although many of my questions related to perimenopause and menopause were greeted with a sort of shrug), the complete lack of basic "customer service" was appalling. I was routinely asked to wait nearly an hour each time I came in for a scheduled appointment -- and recently was stood up entirely. 45 minutes into my appointment, the doctor was nowhere to be found. Furthermore, no one followed up with me after I left the office in great frustration that day. And here's the capper: when I called several days later to inform the staff I was leaving the Dr.'s practice and to request my files be forwarded, no one seemed to care enough to ask me why. Shortly thereafter I received a stack of photocopied pages hastily put in a hand-addressed envelope, without any note of confirmation or receipt. In the weeks since this has happened, no one has followed up with me, indicating that this doctor is so busy she feels basic customer care simply isn't important. more

Very good doctors, not so personal though 8/5/2005

This is a group of 4 female doctors and good nurses. I was quite happy with the kind of care they provided and knew they were the right people if something went wrong. I had a low risk pregnancy with no problems, and at times I found them to be not so personal. There is also no guarantee that your primary doctor will deliver your baby. One other problem we had was that their billing department messed up our insurance payments and after many months we are still dealing with claims etc. A good overall experience though more
