Pretty good pizza and calzones. 5/9/2011

Wall street is not my favorite pizza in Portland, but it's the best I can get delivered to my house. It tastes good, but it's a little greasy, and the sauce is a bit too sweet. My problem is I'm allergic to corn. Many pizza places in Portland use corn meal in their crust, or in their ovens to keep the crusts from sticking. Either way, I cant eat it so I'm stuck with Wall Street. At last it's edible. more

Poor Customer Service 11/28/2010

We ordered out a month ago and they didn't give me the extra toppings I ordered and paid for, so I called and told the guy and he apologized and said he put "my name in the book" for a $3.50 credit for my next visit. We ordered again and when I mentioned on the phone I had a credit in their books the guy told me he couldn't find my name but that he believed me so he'll give me a credit just this time. Then when we picked up the pizza the girl told us "my manager wants me to make sure you won't expect this price next time. we shouldn't be giving you this credit." Like WE were ripping THEM off, when they didn't give us toppings that we paid for the first time. They made us feel unwelcome, and they don't accurately fill orders. We will not return. more

Terrible customer service 11/5/2010

I can't complain about the pizza. It was a decent pizza experience at Wall Street Pizza. It's the customer service that was very disappointing. I bought a Groupon to provide pizza for my co-worker's going away party, without noticing that it was "dine-in only." I noticed on the day of the party. I called and talked to the manager, explaining my error and asking if, since I would be picking up the pizzas at 3:30, a non-busy time, they would be willing to work with me. She said no. I went down at 3:30 with a couple of co-workers. We ordered an appetizer and the pizzas and ate some of the appetizer and a piece of pizza. We then asked for to-go boxes for the remainder. The guy looked at me as if to say, "I know what you're doing." He walked away to talk to someone, came back and said that it would be $2/pizza box and $1 for a box for the appetizer. I agreed and tipped him, but I will never go back and neither will my co-workers. I don't think that's the point of Groupon and it seems as though it would cost less to give me the pizzas to go. more

Please control your kid! 10/1/2010

An employee had her kid at the restaurant. He was running, screaming, making "siren" noises, bugging other tables to watch what he was doing and making the experience rather unpleasant. It would be one thing if it was a customers kid but his mom wasn't paying attention to him and we felt that there was nothing we could say because she was an employee there. I have kids and would never take them to work, if I had to do it I certainly would make sure that they didn't harass everyone. Will not be going to this place again. The pizza was ok but even as a garlic lover the rolls and the pizza crust had so much garlic on it that the entire family felt sick after eating. more

BEST PIZZA 6/10/2010

We are new to the area, only approx. 1 year and were looking for a good pizza delivery. Not only did they deliver, but AWESOME pizza. In fact, gentleman on the phone let us substitute this time for no extra charge. We usually pick it up, just for conviencence sake, but delivery is also great. Taste is the best and cannot beat the Family Deal. Pros: Great customer service!!!! Cons: So far, so good. more

Best pizza in Portland 5/15/2010

WSP moved two years ago to the new location at 101st and Division and added dine in! First you order at the counter and sit down. Lunch specials come out very quickly but service does slow down a bit when the kitchen is busy... Everyone who comes to the counter also has another job to do, but ring the bell and they will come! Very family oriented, there are video games and foosball in the back, with toddler toys and books as well. And the food... mmmmmm From the fresh salads (over 10 choices!) to the sandwiches, pizzas to the pasta (alfredo made from scratch!) Everything is delicious! There are always great deals like the Family Deal which has a huge pizza, salad, garlic rolls and a 2ltr of soda all for $25.00. The new Pizza of the Month is great, if you are on the mailing list you can send in your ideas for the PotM and if yours is chosen you get one for free! My personal favorite, right now that is, is the lasagna but I like to put half marinara and half Alfredo... mmmm Everything is prepared in house so you know its the best! If you want cheep ingredients and bland pizza go somewhere else. Pros: Tons of choices! Cons: Not super busy for dine in more

Greasy, cheap pizza... 8/30/2009

Well I've read a bunch of good reviews here on Wall Street, and I do love good pizza, so I thought I'd give it a try. Let me preface this by saying that I hold all places that I eat at to high standards. I love a good pie and that's definitely not what I got from Wall Street. BTW-someone mentioned in an earlier post that it was some of the best "NY Style" of pizza in Portland. Are you serious? I just recently in New York City four months ago and this pizza would not pass over there. But I will continue. First off, what I ordered: a 14" half-pepperoni, half-cheese pizza, a small Caesar Salad, and 6 garlic rolls (which came complimentary with the salad). For a little over $20 for two people, better pizza can be found elsewhere. The pepperoni slices tasted like what was used to make them: cheap ingredients. The only aspect that was appealing was the garlicky-rich crust that I believe they dust with a brush to add a little something to the very lackluster-tasting crust. It reminded me a little of Chucky Cheese's pizza...and that isn't the greatest of compliments. The cheese slices weren't much better, and were actually more bland considering there were no toppings. Simply put, good cheese pizza doesn't need toppings. The salad was quite "blah" and the croutons seemed like they were from a shelf at Fred Meyer. The garlic rolls were probably the best part, and that's not good a good sign considering pizza is supposed to be the main item on display here. So I gave it a shot and it failed. Probably won't be going here again, but I will list just a few other pizza places you can go in Portland and know you won't be eating cheap, un. Escape From New York, Apizza Scholls, Ken's Artisan Pizza, Pietro's, Hot Lips, Pizzicato, American Dream, Old Town Pizza, etc...To be honest, I'd rather have a slice at Pizza Schmizza than Wall Street, and I'm not a huge fan by any means. Pros: Garlic Rolls, and ummm...not much more Cons: VERY greasy, cheap ingredients, rather bland Ceasar Salad more

FYI: New Location! (Still on East side) 6/2/2008

Wall Street has recently opened a new location with dine in options. It's still on the East side (sorry to you Westsiders) but not too sorry as you get most of the good restaurants. The new location is at 102nd and Division next to the Miller paint and across the street from the Christian Supply. The space is a little... differently shaped..., my friend thought it was a liittle off-putting, but it didn't bother me any. I don't think that many know about the new location, so I don't think it ever gets very busy, although I haven't been in during the "peak" hours. If it WERE busy, I would be concerned about the noise level in the room since it is a very open space and noise might carry easily (this is all conjecture). The wonderful pizza and relatively reasonable prices have carried over from the other take -out only location. I also love that they have a large selection of salads to choose from (for a pizza joint). Pros: Good pizza, decent prices Cons: Large, open dining space (not in a good way); Smallish parking area more

Go to Stark Street Instead 3/12/2008

Wall Street Pizza is no good. You should go to Stark Street Pizza instead. They have the best pizza in town. Wall Street was not impressive. This place gives me the creeps. Stark Street is located at 9234 SE Stark Street. Portland, OR 97216. Their phone number is (503) 255-7227. Go there for great pizza. Pros: None Cons: Awful pizza more

best delivered pizza in town!!! 2/22/2008

Really good pizza and a very friendly staff, quick delivery and they have shrimp pizza!!!! yummmm..... more

Don't miss the garlic rolls! 2/9/2007

I love this place- they have great pizza but my favorites are their Bank Rolls, and their garlic rolls are to die for. I love getting a salad there because they come with 6 garlic rolls and they are just heavenly. Its also pretty cool to read the wall there while you are waiting- there is a wall dedicated to 9/11 and people have written tributes, poetry, etc. Cons: You might want to call in order ahead of time, otherwise you have to sit and wait a bit. more

best pizza you can get delivered to foster-powell neighborhood 7/28/2006

delicious garlick-y crust. tasty sauce. a fantastic pizza all around...not too much cheese, but not too stingy either. definitely better than pizza roma... especially since it's quite a bit cheaper. some of my favorite pizza in portland. Pros: amazingly delicious crust Cons: no 24 hour delivery to appease my late night pizza cravings. more

The best Pizza since moving from Michigan 5/12/2006

I am a choosy pizza-lover. I moved from the midwest and this is my FAVORITE pizza in town. I drive a long way when I want an extra-special treat. This is by far and away the best pizza in Portland. I love mushroom with extra sauce, add ham and Im in heaven. Huge pizza, forget dominoe's mini-size large pizzas. These are huge and the crust is garlic enriched. The best, THE BEST. Love this stuff. I searched long and hard at every pizza joint for the best. This is my favorite!! Pros: Cheap, Huge, Slight garlic crust Cons: Closed Clackamas, Eastside only, Carryout at Mall 205 more

Yummy!!! 11/4/2005

We have been going to the Gresham and portland Wall street for over 11 years, my immediate and extended family love it! more

It's worth the drive. 3/2/2003

I live out on the west side of town and it is worth the drive to dine on Portland's best pizza. If you love hand-tossed New York style pizza. You will love this garlic and olive oil infused crust. Outside the ordinary pizza......try the Bank rolls. I also recommend the salads. Although you can't dine in it's certainly worth the drive or try deliver. more
