5 Star Service!! 3/5/2011

Once again, phenomenal service at Walk's! I live out of the area, but for a few months during the year I work in State College and have used Walk's services several times. Always polite, always courteous and you will not find a better deal on routine services! \r \r In reading some other reviews, I see these guys get a bad rap from disgruntled people who park illegally and get towed. Rather than blaming the towing company, how about taking responsibility for your own actions? more

Expert auto repair 2/14/2011

This place can do it all. I have all of my state safety inspections done here and most of my scheduled maintenance (the ones I don't care to do myself.) They get a bum-rap from punk students complaining that they get towed out of soneone elses parking spot, (but wouldn't you be grateful if it was YOUR parking spot?) These are professional, honest people doing a great job at everything they do. more

Had body work done from a minor accident. Provided a reasonable estimate and worked directly with my insurance company. No hassles at all. Work was completed within the time frame and at the cost estimated. They even cleaned it inside and out. I would recommend them. more

If I could rate this place a less than 1 star I would. They have the worst service I've ever come across and the employees are among some of the most arrogant I have ever dealt with. I had a 4 year old in my car and they took over an hour to tow. I hope many others in the State College area come across Walk's and witness how terrible their service is. This company needs to be cited and shut down. more

Walk?s is a bad choice for car repair. They try very hard and I wouldn?t say that they don?t have nice workers, but their diagnostics are lacking. I went here with power loss for my former car and they could not tell me what was wrong. It turned out that I had a busted head gasket, but this was never mentioned. Maybe they would be good if you already knew what you needed fixed, just don?t ask them to figure that out. more
