Walker Baptist Medical Center is a 267-bed acute care facility in Jasper, Alabama, with more than 600 employees. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of clinical services, including obstetrics/gynecology, orthopedics, emergency services, pain center and a Senior Care Unit, in addition to specialized medical and surgical care. Walker BMC joined the health ministry of Baptist Health System in 1995. Serving an area covering Walker, Winston, Marion and Fayette counties, Walker was the first hospital built in Alabama with all private rooms.
