I had my wedding set re-sized here and when they first brought it out to me the bands did not fit together at all. They brought it back and fixed it but the bands didn't seem to fit together as neatly as they did before. One side was also a little off. The same side a few months later lost a diamond. I have a policy on the ring so it's covered but what I wanted to hear from them was they would make the bands fit together well. I talked to them on the phone and in person and they had nothing to say but that there was no way that the diamond had anything to do with the fitting. They did not address my concerns with the bands so I'm taking it to a different jewler for adjustment to the bands and the replacement diamond. more

Stopped in this store on a whim. I had been debating if an old Bulova watch was worth putting a new battery in as I had not worn the watch in years. \r I fully expected them to need a few days to look at the watch themselves to determine if it was worth a new battery.\r The cute young gentleman behind the counter was so friendly and nice!! He said to give him two minutes and that is about what it took!! He put in a new battery, set the date and time: I was so pleased! I love this old watch as it is well made and has both silver and gold in it so can be worn with whatever other colored jewelry I lean towards that day!\r Thanks Waldeland for great service and exceptional staff. more

After working with them for many years as a customer I never hesitate to recommend them to other people. They have integrity and are very enjoyable to work with. There has never been a question of their work or their work ethics. Them having a gemologist on staff has been helpful over the years. There is no where else I would go to buy stones or jewelry. I keep returning to Waldeland because the quality of their work is superb, and their great customer service is refreshing. I am very particular in my taste in jewelry; most of what I wear has been custom-designed and manufactured. Rick and Travis listen to my ideas and expand upon them; they use their considerable talents to flesh them out, and I've always been excited about the results. The compliments I receive for the rings they've designed are a tribute to their artistry. They also offer many beautiful, original pieces of jewelry for sale and are known for excellent watch repair. All the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Shopping at Waldeland is an enjoyable and satisfying experience, and I can't recommend them enough. more

My fiance? and I walked in after having lunch because we had been talking about getting her engagement ring ""renovated"" into a design that would accommodate a straight wedding band. What a happy coincidence that we just happened to be in the same parking lot as Waldeland! John, the jeweler who helped us, was extremely helpful. He listened to exactly what we wanted from the ring and made sure we were on the same page as far as what he was going to do to change it. We had been to several jewelers before and while none were rude or unhelpful, they just didn't offer the same experience. The finished product, which we picked up today, was beautiful, unique, and cost significantly less than we were originally quoted. This means we can afford to get a nicer wedding ring! Very highly recommended. I will be going back and I'm going to tell my friends about this place too! more

The people at Waldeland are wonderful! My wedding ring was damaged ring in an accident and I was sure that it was beyond repair, but they made it look exactly as it had the day I got married - and nearly 10 years after the repair it is still in great shape. I have also brought in necklaces to get clasps fixed and had my links taken out of my watches and new batteries put in - the staff is friendly and they do great quality work at a reasonable price. I plan to do some of my Christmas shopping here! more

I have developed rheumatoid arthritis. My fingers swelled up horribly last week, and I needed my ring removed.\r \r The gold smith was very gentle as he cut the ring free. When I tried to pay, they refused.\r \r I trust these people. more

Rick Waldeland and I have been friends for 22 years now and his expertise of jewelery and fine diamonds are very outstanding. Rick has made us several rings over the years and the quality and craftsmanship are excellent. We have sent our rings back to him from Arizona to be cleaned and even one ring that I had made, which Rick designed and then shipped here to me. The diamonds that Rick uses and the staff there at Waldeland Jewelers are friendly, courteous and the most professional people that I have met. My son took his wedding ring here to be sized. He had been married for only two weeks. While they were sizing it they made a mistake and took his satin ring and turned it into a polished ring. This was a very expensive designer ring. They never asked for permission to do this. Be careful here. more

I had both of my parents rings & I wanted to design a memory type ring so I talked to Rick The ring turned out BEAUTIFUL! & the Cost to do it was awesome! The salespeople were friendly and personal. Two people worked together to help me, so I don't think they are paid a commission, and we were able to design our own ring. Rick, the owner, carved a beautiful ring. more

Staff is attentive and courteous. Have a great knowledge of jewlery and diamonds. Jewlers on site can be helpful with custom questions. I have brought my ring there twice to fix the prongs and they have fixed it quickly with no charge. They also cleaned and polished the ring and it looked like new. more
