What can you say? It's the AWFUL WAFFLE 11/16/2007

There is nothing like it anywhere.... They can talk about White Castle or Krystal or Huddle House... Nothing has been proven to be better for you then a double bacon quarter cheese plate scattered and covered at 2am. It scientifically accounts for a complete night of sleep and absorbs most of the alcohol that you have consumed that night. I dont think I have ever gone to a Waffle House during daylight hours and I have never seen one waitress that looks like she has not been released from a state penitentiary the previous day. more

delicious breakfast food all day! 3/13/2007

This is the first place I ate when I visited Georgia, because my friend (who is a Georgia native) wanted me to experience Waffle House (which is nonexistant in California). Though it didn't seem like much from the outside (just looked like a 24 hour diner), the food was amazing! I ordered waffles and the grilled Texas cheesecake with the hash browns on the side, and I almost finished the whole plate! Pros: yummy breakfast foods, 24 hours, friendly service Cons: mediocre environment more

WaHo is nasty, dirty and perfect @2am 2/24/2003

Nothing has been proven to be better for you then a double bacon quarter cheese plate scattered and covered at 2am. It scientifically accounts for a complete night of sleep and absorbs most of the alcohol that you have consumed that night. I dont think I have ever gone to a Waffle House during daylight hours and I have never seen one waitress that looks like she has not been released from a state penitentiary the previous day. That being said, I love this place late (and I mea late) at night. Bad service, food served with extra grease and sweet tea that you have to chew are the best in town!!! more

Become a WaHo addict! 2/7/2003

Waffle House is one of the few places that will always welcome you. Granted, there are a few that I will refuse to step into, but the vast majority of them are fantabulous! Tip: Ask the waitress how her night is going, and tell her shes doing a wonderful job. Its a sure fire way to make sure the service is excellent. I'm at WaHo atleast 3 nights out of the week. I can do my college work at any time, stay for as long as I want, and eat a wonderful whole meal for the same price as a Starbuck's latte. And they don't get mad when I bring a few friends! What more could you ask for? Pros: inexpensive, friendly staff, diverse crowd Cons: drunks at 3AM, greasy more

Waffle House Dreams 1/15/2003

Our Waffle House has a Hostess that greets us on the weekends and gets us coffee while we're waiting for a table to open up. Our waitress knows us and what we want to order. You cannot beat the food or the price! more

Late night eating 1/9/2003

They call it ""Waffle House""!? 1/6/2003

I don't know which Waffle House the article is referring to, because all Waffle Houses are the same. I went to one in Birmingham in 1997, and did I overlook the massive waffle selection? These restaurants don't amount to very much. more

Friendliess Joint in Town 12/30/2002

With its many quaint and distinctive characteristics, the Waffle House may possibly be the best place for someone to rest their troubles and laugh it up and relax. With the infamous and beautiful waitresses and their at home cooking, one would have to be crazy not to have fun here. Kids can go here to have fun and hang out, plus you could go to eat here at any time whenever you have the munches or just want to sober up! It's more than just waffles at the Waffle House, it's the atmosphere. The Waffle House is truely the place to be. Pros: Great Atmosphere, Good Company, At Home Cooking Cons: Not a Chic Place, Not Fancy, Not Gormet more

radical 12/14/2002

great food, great service, good coffee, and good hashbrowns. did i mention the coffee? more

yuk 11/3/2002

Most waffle houses ith the Lawrenceville area are nasty. I quit going to them, especially the one on 20 and 316. Management ought to go there at midnight sometime to see what goes on. Cons: help, cleanlyness, riffraf that comes in more

Addicted to coffee 10/31/2002

I am a student at North Metro Tech in Acworth and every morning before class I stop at my Waffel House where Rita hooks me up with the best coffee in town a bottomless cup for $1.02 is hard to beat. The folks there know me by name and are always happy to see me and my girlfrieds comming. they meet us at our table with coffee and plenty of gossip and laughs. Pros: affordiable, clean, tasty Cons: grits, natasha, Teresa more

Yummy! 10/25/2002

I have loved the Waffle House ever since I started being able to go there about a decade ago, yummy food and lots for your money.....the only negative I can think of is the new ""house rules"" posters they have hung up in their restaurants. They are the only restaurant that I know of that places rules in full view like it is a kindergarten classroom. Limited seating also makes it a bad choice if you have a large party. Pros: inexpensive, friendly staff, good portions Cons: limited seating, rules posted on wall more

Overcooked 10/24/2002

Overcooked is the best term to describe the food at the Waffle House. The best part of breakfast remains the toast. Eggs over easy were overcooked to the point of hard-boiled centers. Bacon was definitely charred and too crispy. Hash browns were too crispy. Coffee was fine. more

yummmmmmmmmm 10/22/2002

they are the best, waffles are great, eggs are yummy, and hash browns are the best!!!!!! more

Omelette Head 10/7/2002

I love Waffle House. Open 24 hrs. 7 days a week. I can have breakfast whenever i want it. I especially love their omelettes. They are delicious. And the wait staffs' attitude is wonderful. Keep up the good job. Pros: inexpensive, delcious omelettes Cons: always packed more

Hungry? It's Late? Waffles? 10/1/2002

Nothing taste as good as eggs, waffles and grits at 4:00 in the morning. I don't know if I would eat it if I was not out all night but for late night eats it can't be beat!! Pros: Inexpensive, Plentiful Cons: Crowded more
