the best of Mizner Cinema 5/5/2009

Mizner Cinema is a landmark at Mizner Park. The best feature is Eric Miller, who greets everyone with a smile and a personal greeting. He should get the title Ambassador of Mizner Cinema. more

After being everywhere else, this place was refreshing! 3/24/2006

We really enjoyed our movie experience here! I have lived in Boca for oh so long, and so many times ended up at Shadowood Square, which is primariliy for convenience, 5 min away from my houses, but we tried Mizner one night..and surprise! There was no line to wait in, the ticket counter man was so nice, and the food concession was friendly and again..no lines!! The theaters themselves were older, but comfortable and the whole place gives you a warm cozy theater feel. Definately recommend this palce for an evening out..we will be back! more

Mizner Park Cinema 2/21/2006

We love this place! They feature first run movies that are very rarely sold out. The popcorn comes with real butter. The best thing about this movie theater is Eric, who takes your tickets. He greets each customer with a smile and genuine interest in them and the movie that they are viewing. He is the best customer service person I have ever met! He is the top reason to visit Mizner Park Cinema. more

catch a flick 9/22/2005

This is an okay place to watch movies. I think more people are inclined to watch a movie at the Muvico. Or, most people don't think of going to Mizner to watch a movie. So, chances are, the film you're going to watch there is not going to be packed. The popcorn is good there and the 2-story cinemas has an old-school feel. more

If you've ever been to Mizner Park in Boca Raton, you will probably agree it represents the true South Florida shopping standard. Designed as an open air mall, Mizner Park has dozens of upscale stores, and restaurants. It also has a cinema. At first, I was really happy that they have a movie theatre here. After all, it's nice that you can stroll in the park, dine in one of those fancy restaurants and then go to see a movie. But I was quickly disappointed once I tried it. First, the cinema is quite small. Second, the seatings are not that comfortable. Third, they don't always have the newest movie and the showtimes are not that good either. So don't expect too much. more

Looking for an Oldie but a Goodie 8/10/2005

Tired of standing in the Muvico lines with a million teenagers all screaming in your ears? Want to taste some of the best buttered popcorn out there? Well, then Mizner Park Cinemas (part of www.sunrisecinemas.com) is the theater for you. It may only have 8 screens, but the shows never sell out and you are bound to always find a good seat at the theater. Their prices are reasonable and their service is great. They even do Indy films on various Sundays during the month! Located on the first/second floor of Mizner Park, this theater is ideal for those trying to avoid the mass-marketing, gigantic lines offered at other cineplexes and offers an older, more authentic movie theater experience. Oh yeah, and its popcorn has been voted one of the best in South Florida movie theaters! more
