Will Not Be A Repeat Customer 2/3/2014

We were greeted as though they had better things to do. Glasses & Contacts come in 2 weeks apart- contacts need to be returned. My mom's glasses haven't even come in yet and it's been over a month. Her first pair took 2 weeks only to be told her other paid still had to be ordered. 2 more weeks have gone by and still not in. When I went in to get my contacts they told me my glasses weren't in yet and I had already picked them up two weeks prior. Then they though that my mom's 1st pair had already been picked up- when they hadn't even ordered them yet. My brother in law waited 6 weeks for his glasses. My sister waited 6 weeks for contacts and they told her they left a voice mail 2 weeks prior (she never received a voice mail) their policy is if not picked up with in 30 days they are returned. This place is a joke. Absolutely will NEVER recommend them to anyone. UNPROFESSIONAL from the first person that greats you to the time you finally get your product and hopefully they are correct. I don't feel you should pay up front for a product that they can not guarantee satisfaction. more

STAY AWAY VISION MAX SCAMERS 10/3/2012

First place I ever been to that has you see a tech. first to discuss what type of contacts you want when you haven't even seen the Dr. & you don't know if you need astigmatism, daily, extended or if you can even use color or not. The tech. is extremely hard to understand her English is terrible. She kept telling me to pick the contacts I want that she can not tell me what to get. I asked her few times how do I know what contacts I can use if I have not seen the Dr. I sat in 2 waiting areas then finally saw the Dr. who barley spoke. He gave me a sample pair of contacts to try for a wk. On my way out I had to pay $130 for 6mo supply of contacts that I never ordered. I did NOT want to pay for the contacts until I ordered them but they said I had to pay upfront. After a wk my left contact was really bothering me I went back explained to the tech. my eye was very irritated it felt like I had something in it & re wetting drops was not helping. She said it was a defect in the contact because it had a hair line slit in it. I kept telling her it was my left eye she went to the back brought me a new contact said here right eye right eye put on. I said no it's my left eye she said yes yes left eye. I drove home felt a little dizzy could not see good as soon as I got home I took them out & there was a hair line slit in the left contact just like the previous. I put on my old glasses. I ended up going back that same day told the tech. I do not want the contacts I want glasses. I took an old frame with me to see what would be a better deal to get a new frame or just put lenses on my old frame. I had already prepaid $130 & if I wanted another frame it was an additional $50. I ended up using my old frame because it was no additional cost. I paid for a contact eye exam which is a regular eye exam but a little more extensive so that I could be fitted for contacts. The reason I did that was so I could get contacts & glasses. But I was told I would not get any info regarding contacts RX. Can't be legal I paid for that contact exam. more

The technicians there were very nice however the sales person kept trying to change the price and only when I got irate and decided to leave did she finally give me the advertised price and I one of the girls there even asked me why she was charging me so much. The wait was well over 2 hours and the place was a mess, they even lost a patient that one of the Dr's had placed in a room and then appeared to forget. I was shuffled around to several rooms as they attempted to make room for all the people that were there. I finally left without glasses, I paid for the prescription since I had already been exammined and left feeling like I had beed taken advantage of. I would not recommend this place. PS One of the girls even aasked my who had refered me, when I told her my daughter had gotten her glasses there she seemed surprised and asked me with a look of disbelief " she liked it here?" PPS My daughter, after I told her what had happened admitted to me, she feels her prescriotion was'nt done right because she doesnt see as well as her previous prescription done at LensCrafter. more

As for communication... I had no problem understanding anyone there. Everyone seemed polite and pleasant. The doctor was fantastic with working with my husband who is deaf. Although it was like buying a car... I felt the doctor was professional and staff friendly. more

I have been going here for over 10 years and yes you have to wait a while even though you have an appt. but it's affordable and I have never had any problems with the quality of the products and I always pay what either the coupon I take says or what they quoted me before my appt. I will continue to go for my glasses and contacts alot of my friends go also more

I went in, had an appointment at 12 but didnt show up until 1pm. It was my first time going so like anywhere I had to fill out the paper work but once that was done I was in there in 15 min. I thought the people were friendly and the place was clean as well which is very important to me. It did take a bit of time getting from station to station but nothing too bad. I got both my glasses and contacts in 4 business days. They have good prices and good service... I would and have reccomded this place! more
