This place is amazing. My fiance has been getting his hair cut with Victor for the past 3 almost 4 years. Victor does all types, not just men, and comes highly recommended. I use Chatty for color and Ashley for cut. What a team! I have had my hair cut and colored since I was 12 and these two ladies are where its at. My aunt has been doing hair for 30 years and Wow...... no competition. I actually have an appt with Chatty and Ashley next week. Can't wait! All of the stylists seem to be extremely professional and results happen before your eyes all around you. This place is tried and true! My mother had been seeing another hair stylist from another VC who was not getting the job done. She saw a woman at her job with the hair she wanted and was sent to Andre, what a blessing. I searched for years for someone to be able to do great color...CHATTY is it. She is amazing at color! She goes above and beyond to accomodate me and my crazy schedule....she has even come in on her off days to accomodate me. She is so good that she is one of the trainers for Visible Changes and travels all over the state teaching others how to do color. My colorist was XocHiTL, she greeted me with a warm hello. She asked the typical questions of what was i looking for, how did i want the color, etc..., but when I had the dumb founded look of this is what i think i want, and i think this type of color, she shook her head and smiled at me, then said, ""I know what you are talking about"". TJ trimmed my dead ends and WOW he is such a conversationalist, I feel like i know him and his family. He provided the exact service I asked for and my boyfriend thanks him. Once I goy home, I felt the color was okay, but when I got to work the next day, no one could tell I had even colored my hair. My co-workers and I tried everything to make it look more appealing, but nothing, so I broke down and called XocHiTL and explained my dilemma, she told me to come back and that we were going to fix where we went wrong. When I walked in there wasn't an attitude or anything, she was the same person I had met the day before. I am overly pleased with the work that I received from my colorist and stylist, and they will definitly be my permanent hair people. Kim at Visible Changes First Colony is a talented stylist. She has an innate sense of styling hair to bring out your best facial features. I support a very short style, and a bad haircut is unforgiving. Yet, I never really worry about my cut ever since I became Kim?s client. She takes a lot of pride in her work almost to the point of perfection. She checks every little detail with her cut, down to balancing the length of my sideburns. I highly recommend Kim, not just for her talent in styling, but also for her pleasant, easy going personality. I truly appreciate Kim who clearly shows a passion for all things hair! Visibles Changes in First Colony is the best place I have ever been, my stylist is Clavia. She is one of the most understanding people I have ever met. I am bi-racial, and I have what you would consider ""ethnic hair"" which is sometimes hard to manage but she does it with delight. Clavia has never mess my hair up or not been able to fit me in. Also, the salon itself is a very comfortable environment. Everyone is very friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful. I highly recommend the service. more

I had my first appointment at this location with Jen Garza. The stylist has no customer service skills. When I asked her opinion about the length of my layers her response was ""I don't know"" and pretty much a response to everything I asked. She just seemed pretty annoyed that she had to cut my hair. She was pretty rough with coming my hair out after it was washed. When I asked her to trim a little bit more she didnt seem too happy with that request. I would recommend going to Jose at the Galleria which is where I normally go but I needed a cut today and this location was the closest. The employees at the Galleria are really nice and willing to give you advice on hairstyles when asked. This location was filthy and cramped. I think this location needs to have their employees leave the attitude at the door before they check into work. Cons: filthy and poor customer service more

This salon doesn't even deserve 1 star. I grew up going to Visible Changes. My mom, sister and I all went to visible changes. That is until they ruined my wedding day. I talked about my wedding day hair with my hair dresser ever since I started college. Finally the day had come! My mother got her hair done earlier that day and confirmed with my hair dresser that she was doing my hair that evening. As my air brush make up was being applied Visible Changes calls me saying they need to bump me back 30 minutes. Not to mention my sister was her next appointment so that would bump her back 30 minutes. Yikes, it went downhill from there! They didn't double book me, the apt before me was really for an up-do. The lady I had been going to all of my life could have said no, I can't do this I have Rachel's wedding hair next and I won't have enough time. Nope, that didn't happen. She took the job and made me wait. Wait on my wedding day! Everyone knows you are a schedule the day of your wedding! I was furious and extremely disappointed. Of course I was emotional. I had to remove my fake eyelashes from crying and re-apply makeup because the tears ruined the air brush make up I just paid for.
