Visible Changes Almeda Mall Best Place for Hair 8/30/2010

I have been going to Maria for around 8 years. She has always been able to get me in and out quickly and has ALWAYS given me the BEST hair cut. I get compliments on my cut all the time. I have let her tell ME WHAT I want and she has never steared me wrong. I retired 2 years ago and will drive from Victoria to Houston every 5 weeks for my hair color and cut. Everyone there is great and friendly. Twe gives an awesome shampoo!They know I come 2 hours and everyone tries to get me worked in especially Maria! Thank you Maria for many years and hopefully many more!!!!!! more

I WENT IN 07 FOR A WEDDING AND A STYLIST NAME MYA DID MIRACLES W/ MY HAIR. IAM BI-RACIAL SO ITS HARD TO DO ANYTHING W/ MY HAIR BUT SHE DID. ABOUT 6 MONTHS AFTER THAT SHE WAS GONE. AND THEY SENT HER CUSTOMERS TO EVALENA. SHE DID A HORRIBLE JOB. WHAT SHE DONE I COULD HAVE DONE MYSELF. ALL SHE DID WAS WASH, TRIM, LAYER, BLOW DRYED & FLAT IRONED. FOR $75. AND TOLD ME NEXT SHE WOULD HAVE TO CHARGE ME FOR AN UPDO BECAUSE IT TOOK SO LONG. WHICH WAS ABOUT $100 & AND SOMETHING. MYA DID THE SAME THING TO MY HAIR AND CHARGED ME $45. AND DID IT WAY FASTER & BETTER. I LOVED IT. SO I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO MYA. AND I WILL NEVER GO OR RECOMMEND EVALENA! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE JOB!! Perfect hair stylist for 1st time hair color on my 15yr old 9/29/2009

Brought in my 15 yr old daughter for her very first hair trim and hair color. My daughter brought in a picture to follow for reference. I only had to let Maria know that I would trust her judgement on hair cut, style & color. Maria did an EXCELLENT JOB. My daughter has received RAVES from all of her friends and family. I've been coming to this salon for years and have always been pleased on how they take care of their customers. I have personally been going to see Yadira for years, hair cuts, color, hair styles, everything and she always takes care of you and takes the time needed to make sure you always walk out of there with a smile on your face. She has so much knowledge and works hard to take care of her clients, always! I first visited Visible Changes at Greenspoint as a teenager. 27 years latter they remain my salon of choice. All of the staff has been professional with a personal touch that welcomes you. Don't go here for your wedding day! 4/26/2009

This salon doesn't even deserve 1 star. I grew up going to Visible Changes. My mom, sister and I all went to visible changes. That is until they ruined my wedding day. I talked about my wedding day hair with my hair dresser ever since I started college. Finally the day had come! My mother got her hair done earlier that day and confirmed with my hair dresser that she was doing my hair that evening. As my air brush make up was being applied Visible Changes calls me saying they need to bump me back 30 minutes. Not to mention my sister was her next appointment so that would bump her back 30 minutes. Yikes, it went downhill from there! They didn't double book me, the apt before me was really for an up-do. The lady I had been going to all of my life could have said no, I can't do this I have Rachel's wedding hair next and I won't have enough time. Nope, that didn't happen. She took the job and made me wait. Wait on my wedding day! Everyone knows you are a schedule the day of your wedding! I was furious and extremely disappointed. Of course I was emotional. I had to remove my fake eyelashes from crying and re-apply makeup because the tears ruined the air brush make up I just paid for. I have been visiting this salon for years... They have such a warm welcoming staff and stylist..You are always treated like famiy..This salon is never cold or rude like most salons.. I love that I can see my stylist ( Yadira) for all my needs from color to cut to up dos..I love this salon and stylist so much that I have trusted them with my little girl.. I've been going to Visible Changes for the past 7 years now. It's always been nothing short of a wonderful experience. Esme is the best! No matter what my hair is like, she can always have it looking great. She gives me a great color, cut, and style every time! I'd definitely recommend this salon.
