I just got my hair cut by Eriela Mallett for the 2nd time and I love love love the way she can make my hair look so good. I can even make my hair look great at home after the cut. I started going to Angie for color and Teresa for cut and style 7 months ago. I absolutely love my hair! I used to hate getting my hair done because I never knew what to expect. I've had some really bad color jobs in the past. Not any more! I get exactly what I ask for with Angie. I have naturally curly hair and it is hard to work with. I have fine hair, but a lot of it. Destiny is the same way, so she knew my hair troubles before we got started. She likes to dry hair before cuts it so she can see exactly what is wrong with it and how you want to change it. Let her know everything you want and she will talk to you about your options. She's very nice and a great stylist. I highly recommend! more

This salon doesn't even deserve 1 star. I grew up going to Visible Changes. My mom, sister and I all went to visible changes. That is until they ruined my wedding day. I talked about my wedding day hair with my hair dresser ever since I started college. Finally the day had come! My mother got her hair done earlier that day and confirmed with my hair dresser that she was doing my hair that evening. As my air brush make up was being applied Visible Changes calls me saying they need to bump me back 30 minutes. Not to mention my sister was her next appointment so that would bump her back 30 minutes. Yikes, it went downhill from there! They didn't double book me, the apt before me was really for an up-do. The lady I had been going to all of my life could have said no, I can't do this I have Rachel's wedding hair next and I won't have enough time. Nope, that didn't happen. She took the job and made me wait. Wait on my wedding day! Everyone knows you are a schedule the day of your wedding! I was furious and extremely disappointed. Of course I was emotional. I had to remove my fake eyelashes from crying and re-apply makeup because the tears ruined the air brush make up I just paid for. first off like in previous reviews the front desk staff is rude and has major attitude not a great first impression.this was my first time going to visible changes because i needed a quick fix for my dyed pink hair that need to be brown again.So i called in the morning after reading all these reviews about how great this place was and was surprised to be able to get a same day appointment(should have been my first warning).the girl who took my info tells me im going to be getting a level 1 stylist yada yada yada... and so i get there early only to be greeted by the two attitydes at the front desk and waited about 15 minutes after my appt time. when the stylist (jenny) came to get me she quickly dismissed me with a quick glance and barked""what do you want?"" i explained i needed to have the pink removed from my hair . she said i had two options either bleach it to remove the color or color over it and it would be a nice auburn shade.having not wanted to ruin my hair even more i opted for number two and some nice color on top two even it out.well what i got was platinum blonde highlights and unbeknownst to me purple where the pink used to be .. i didnt notice the purple until one of my coworkers pointed it out later on at work. i had trusted my stylist to do the right thing and she didnt..so i marched back up to visible changes explained nicely to a manger what happened and she told me there was no way i could get my money back.when i asked why she walked away and got the other manager , who proceeded to accuse me of knowingly wanting purple hair!!! long story short, o got my monet bacj after making a scene in the middle of the salon and will never ever go back again!!!this was the mosy horrible experience ever!!!stat away from this place!!!! I recently moved to TX from the East Coast and a friend recommended Reyes for highlights and Destiny for the cut. I had some misgivings as I typically don't do chain hair salons but they were great. My highlights are fabulous. Destiny's cut is great and I've hada lot of compliments on my hair. I've been to a lot of pricey salons and some really well known ones and Destiny and Reyes are up there with the best. Destiny is young and I am so impressed with how good she is at this point in her career. I am definitely going to keep going to them. The prices are great too! It was only $40 for the cut. I'm used to paying double that. I would definitely go to both of them if you are looking for a salon. Pros: Great color and cut, price Cons: lobby area more

I have been going to Jenny at Visible Changes in The Woodlands, TX mall for years now and she does a FANTASTIC job every time. I have NEVER been disappointed with her work . She has never been anything but sweet, friendly and professional. I have received many compliments on both my haircut (Steven cuts my hair - he's also TERRIFIC!!) and color thanks to Jenny & Steven and have always trusted their skill as well as their advice/suggestions on my hair cut & color. I can't help but feel that anyone who wold say something bad Jenny's personality or professionalism is just looking for an excuse to get a free hair color service!!! Please do not let that incorrect, negative review influence your opinion about, or decision to see Jenny at Visible Changes. If you do, you will be missing out on the opportunity to meet a very sweet person who does an excellent job with hair color! more

My best friend recently referred me to Jenny after my long time colorist at another salon moved out of state. She did an AMAZING job with the color. I brought in a picture of my natural color, from the days before bleach, and she matched it so well!! She was nothing but professional, fun, and extremely welcoming! Salons like that often come off as pretentious, but Jenny definitely eased any awkward feelings I had! I can't remember the guy who shampooed my hair, but he was incredible as well! Even with the loud music blaring, he was able to get me to relax. After my color and shampoo, Rebecca cut my hair and did an excellent job! It was the fresh, fun cut I'd been wanting for a long time! My hair still looks great, and I'm now referring everyone looking for a colorist and cutter to Jenny and Rebecca!! Pros: Best Colorist & Amazing Shampooers! Cons: A little noisy! more

Hmmm I am wondering if the girl who likes to call herself cupcake is the girl that came into the salon after me a week or so again. If it is then honey your hair was a little blonde and a little pink. I was sitting a chair near getting my hair cut and styled, when you began your very nasty rant. Jenny has been coloring my hair for almost three years. I have lived in Los Angeles and Scottsdale, AZ. I have never had a colorist as talented as Jenny. I have sent several friends in to her and they have loved her as well. I am not in the industry but even I know that no one can make a normal color out of the mess you walked in with. I also want you to know that in a few years when you mature you will realize that the only ""TWIT"" in the salon that day was you. You made a complete fool out of your self. I am a client of Jennys for about year and a half. When I first came to her, I had a horrible color job from another salon. She was able to correct the color which I loved and got compliments for. I never have to bring a picture, give her a general idea and she always creates a color for me which I love each time I make a change wheather I go lighter or from blonde to darker with warm and rich highlights. When a customer who is NOT a trained professional applies chemicals to their own hair, they are rolling the dice and taking a slim chance at receiving optimum results. Products/chemicals purchased in a retail shop like S***'s or at a grocery store are not of the same caliber as what is used in a salon. They cause more damage to the hair because many of them contain ammonia and other such harmful ingredients. THERE IS A GOOD REASON WHY THESE PRODUCTS ARE CHEAPER...!
