Hey guys ask for Brenna . She has the chops and the looks (cutest thing ever) . Shes a real double threat, or really a tripple threat cause she has a sense of humor too. Tyla Searles is my colorist of 3 years at Visible Changes at Barton Creek. My hair looks FABULOUS. She knows what she is doing. I am extremely particular about the colors that are placed in my hair and Tyla is talented in the way of making sure the tones are right for my skin and eye color. She has been consistent everytime for the past 3 years. I am hard to please when it comes to my hair but Tyla is extremely knowledgeable and I only trust her to color my hair. more

I was dumb enough to make an appointment with a stylist I'd never been to - HUGE MISTAKE. Soonie chopped my hair. It's totally uneven and extremely ugly. I told her I didn't want it more than a few inches shorter and it's now about 5-6 inches shorter at least. I'm glad it's barely long enough for a pony tail because that's how I will be wearing it for the next few months. Do not spend your money with Soonie. I cannot believe how horrible my hair turned out. She promised I would like it and that she was doing what I asked. I have been going to Visible Changes at Barton Creek for a year. I have always had a good experience and the Front Desk is always friendly and courteous to me. My stylist Brenna always greets me with a smile. She does an excellent job and her professionalism is beyond compare. I highly recommend her and the Visible Changes. more

Mary R (Style Director) is very pleasant, fast & talented. My hair was half the way down my back and I wanted to go very short. I had two styles picked out for my type of hair texture. She helped me decide on one from the style books and she gave me the exact cut! I love it! A very satisfied customer. Do your hair a favor, ask for MARY! We all want that stylist who listens and pays attention to what you want!! Britney is a great stylist and she takes the time to get the cut that you ask for. I always leave her chair feeling great about my style and confident I can maintain it as well. What more can you ask for?? She has a sunny disposition and is fun to talk to...do yourself a favor and give Britney a try. I know that not everyone wants to get their hair done at the mall but I have been to the best salons in town but I continue to go back to Visible Changes. The appointments are easy to get...the stylists know the latest techniques...and afterwards you can treat yourself to shopping therapy at your favorite boutique. more

Denise is GREAT here! The salon itself is clean, adequately equipped and has a nice atmosphere for being in Barton Creek Mall. I would not recommend this salon unless you are making an appointment with Denise as the quality isn't guaranteed. I had taken a picture of a haircut I wanted to my previous hairstylst at another salon and told her I specifically didn't want layers in the back which she promptly gave me. I wore my hair up for a week and then on the advice of a friend went to Denise at Visible Changes. She listened to what I wanted and needed and combined the two together to give me a haircut that I LOVE! She took away the layers that I hated, yet gave me more length than I thought possible. I also liked that I talked to her about the first haircut I had gone in for and she said it would've been completely possible to do it without layering the back of it which tells me she really knows how to work with hair. Not only that she's fun and enjoyable to talk to! I'm glad to have found an AWESOME hairdresser, and one that's not too expensive either at $35 for shampoo, cut, and style, $20 for just shampoo and cut. I can't wait to go back! My sister had gone several times to another Visible Changes in the galleria and always got great haircuts...so I decided to try one in Austin. It was pretty much a disaster...I arrived 15 minutes early for my scheduled appointment and I waited over an hour before they finally got to me...extremely busy, noisy, and terrible customer service. I ended up getting a perm and they pulled half of my hair out...I don't think that's normal. Now I have all these sprouts shooting up from the torn hair...and I had really healthy hair...now it looks like crap. Anyways...maybe my day just sucked, but I'm not going back. Pros: in the mall?
