Yeah if a whole lotta food is a main priority then this is the place to go. Also if you want Italian but are feeling too lazy to go find a good place. Other then that I think Vinny's is totally bunk. The prices are really outragoeus for the quality if not for the huge portions but who can eat that much anyway? Also my friend once went through that bottle with the little numbers in it that is supposed to have a free dinner in there somewhere and THERE WAS NO FREE DINNER in there. The manager should have offered us a free dinner but he only made a half-## apology. hmph. more

So You're Starving and Want Italian 4/15/2006

Vinny T's has ridiculously large portions of good Italian food. One entree is easily enough for two people, though I do enjoy taking home my leftovers to eat for the next couple days. They're also open pretty late, which is a nice change of pace for Boston. Since I'm a garlic fanatic, I'm always extremely happy when they bring out the bread with the accompanying dipping sauce which has a whole head of roasted garlic drenched in olive oil. more

Boring, but consistent 4/13/2006

You get what you pay for. It's pretty basic Italian American fare, but you get big portions. I enjoy the fried ravioli. Mmm mmm good. It's not bad, I'd say it's good for families and dates (if you don't plan on progressing further in the relationship). It's good if you don't really know what you want, very convenient. more

Its not the North End 3/24/2006

This restaurant is alright for those people who love pasta and a lot of it. It is no necessarily the best Italian food but they give you so much of it that you feel sick when you leave there. It is a typical chain restaurant but at one point it was a novelty. If you are looking for authentic Italian, go to the North End. more

Cheap, but not very good 3/19/2006

Vinny Testa's in Boston serves Americanized Italian food. Everything comes in a huge double portion size which may be good for groups, but less well suited to small parties that might not feel like eating the same thing. Their mixed drinks and sangria are not good at all and should be avoided. The garlic bread served before the meal tastes yummy, but is one of the few good things about this restaurant. The wait (which is often over an hour) and poor service make this not such a great restaurant. more

Great Italian - Large Portions 3/7/2006

Vinny T'sis a great Italian restaruant in the Boston Area. They have a full menu of Italian food and it comes in large portions soyou definetley get the most for your money. The intereior decorating only adds to the authentic Italian feelof the restaruant and although it is alittle expensive, Vinny T'sis definetley worth a visit. more

HUGE portions--and very tasty Italian food 2/28/2006

Vinny T's is a really great Italian restaurant with a few locations, mostly in the Boston area although I hear they're breaking out a little more now. They have absolutely ENORMOUS portions to their entrees--if you order anything "for two" you'll have enough for two for two days. Their food is typical Italian--lots of cheese and garlic. I'm always a fan of their waiters, who are very helpful and friendly. They have many vegetarian options as well as meat options. And their Tiramisu is wonderful as well, in the unlikely event that you have room for dessert. more

Mmmmmm....nuff said 8/14/2005
