Vincenzo's On The Bay

This was the worst service and food I have ever had! Not a month ago my husband won a gift certificate from a radio station, so we went to Vincenzo's thinking we would get great service.. boy were we wrong! The waiter was horrible, never brought out bread, never came to check on us, someone else brought out our food, No one refilled my drink, when i asked, it took him almost 15 min to bring me a diet coke back, my husband and his dad had a bottle of wine, it was nice, nothing special. The meal was horrible, his dads was fine, but my husbands tuna was way over cooked! no color at all left in the meat! I ordered a side salad and asked for chicken to be added, they added and charged me $13 for the chicken! So my side salad with chicken was $22!!! That to me is crazy! I would see spending $15 if it was a nice size but for a side salad with chicken it was not worth it.By no means are we cheap, we eat out all the time, we just expected something better from this place. By the time we left we were sure we would never recommend it or eat there again! Was a shame cause the design was nice and we loved the look of the place. Note to self...and everyone else.. do not waste your time or money driving out here for horrible service! more

The Lasagne looked like it was made from cat food. Not that dry and crunchy stuff, but the nastiest mystery-meat "pate" one could find. It tasted equally impressive with a saltly, "Chef Boyardee" twinge that you might get when taking-in a couple mouths of saltwater. I think I retained about 3 gallons of water before I felt normal again. MEOW ! more

Whether it be a romantic dinner for two, or a get-together with friends for a special occasion, Vincenzo's On The Bay is place for you. The food, especially the seafood, is superb. Try the salmon or grouper -- you won't be disappointed. Either dining indoors or al fresco, the views of estero bay are magnificent, especially at sunset. One word of caution: in season this restaurant has a long waiting list, but then again, if you live in southwest Florida, you're used to that by now.
