Got my hair cut by a rookie Kristina Bridges who did a terrible job and I paid $45/- for the haircut! My hair was uneven at the back and sides. Had to go get a corrective cut elsewhere. Villagio has gone downhill ever since management changed hands in the past few years. Never going back there again! more

The customer service here is horrible, 5/19/2012

The customer service here is horrible, and their business practices are violating the Credit CARD Act of 2009. According to this law, gift cards for both gifts and services cannot expire within 5 years of the purchase date, and yet, Villaggio will not honor gift cards one year after the date of purchase. They would not honor my $50 gift card which ""expired"" only weeks before I visited, and I know of at least three other people who have experienced the same thing. After the manager would not return my phone calls or emails, I submitted them to the BBB, and the manager did not respond to their inquiry either. Do not go here! more

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER 3/25/2012

I was looking for a new spa and called Villagio Spa in Fishers. The receptionist made an appt for Sat March 24. I went to the salon and was told that the hairdresser with whom the appt was made was in Zionsville. OK, what about another stylist in Fishers. April 7 was the earliest. I then asked about a Mani Ped. Sure we have an opening on Sunday March 25. So I arrive at the spa and the look at me like I crazy and say, you don't have an appt. I tell them the history and they could care less. Appears the recpetionist made it for the NEXT Sunday. i will never go to this spa again and anyone that is looking for appropriate customer service should look elsewhere. more

do yourself a favor....go somewhere else!!! 11/18/2011

used to frequent this spa starting about 2 years ago. about a year ago, while getting services, i heard employees talking about someone buying out the spa and it under new ownership. i havent been here in awhile and recently went back. i must say that all of the good reviews have to be during the previous ownership. after complications with my services and experience at villaggio, it appears to me that the new owners DO NOT CARE. they are terrible business people. ugh. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR TIME. do yourself a favor and go somewehre else!!!! more

waste of a gift card 10/7/2011

My brother in Texas got me a gift card based on the number stars. This place is awful! The first time I went, the hairdresser complained the whole time about the front office. The other hairdresser there couldn't mix hair dye by herself, so mine had to stop and mix it for her. Then, I go and get another haircut there (because of the gift card) and both those hairdressers quit, they have somone new, but even with the picture I showed her, she didn't give me the cut I wanted. I had hair to mid back, and I wanted it cut to the nape of my neck because I'm tired of it, wanted a change, and it's heavy (my hair if very thick). Well, she cut it my shoulders, so I could ""get used to it being a little shorter, and then come back again and we'll do the rest!"" Ironically enough it looked exactly like her haircut, and the same as the lady's before me...i think she only knows one cut. Utterly disappointed, I have $15 left on the card, and it's not going to be used more

Don't waste precious time or $ 10/7/2011

I'm utterly surprised to see this business has ANY stars whatsoever! I was absolutely appauled on my last visit to the Fishers location. With being unwelcomely greeted by some giddy high school girl and offered luke warm ""cucumber water""...then asked to wait in a loud, bright, front area, to be shortly followed by a mad rush back to a treatment room and only given 45 mins of a 60 minute long facial...I am surprised I didn't run out of that business crying. Going on to mention the ""spa director"" Levinda and her unprofessional, nonchalant approach to attempting to apologize for any ""inconveinance it may have caused"" but offering NO remedy?....I see this spa burning itself to the ground really soon. The turnover rate of employees at this establishment is enough of a warning, my appointment was moved 2 times due to ""people no longer working here"". Thumbs DOWN Villaggio! more

Buyer beware! 10/6/2011

Late last September I was given a $90 gift certificate to the spa. WIth the crazy pace of life, I completely forgot about the gift certificate. I came across the gift card and with excitement, called the spa to schedule an appointment. I called around September 6th or so. Unfortunately they did not have an appointment that worked for my schedule until September 23rd. I arrived at the spa and was in the room when the attendant came in to inform me that my gift certificate had expired. I asked what day it expired, and she told me the 19th (or right around there- I forget the exact date but it was definitely after I made the appointment). She informed me that their manager was very strict about gift certificates and would not honor it even if it is expired by 1 day. To give the spa credit, the gift card does have printed on it, that it expires in one year; however, the card did not in any way shape or form state the date of expiration. more

Typical Fishers/Geist snooty service 9/28/2011

Recently my husband so kindly gave me a gift card worth $100 to this spa. I called to schedule a 90 minute massage and got booked for the following day. After a long week of teaching special needs children, I could not wait for an hour and a half of complete relaxation! I read online that once you check in you will go to the relaxation room. When I got to the spa, I checked in and was shown to the waiting area in the front. After about 10 minutes, the massage therapist came to get me and took me to the locker room and relaxation room. I was only in the relaxation room for about 5 minutes or less when it was time for the massage more

Poor Management 9/26/2011

I was a 5 year customer of Villaggio. I am very disappointed in the poor customer service from the spa management. My husband purchased me a gift card for Christmas and I wasn't aware there was an expiration date. Lucky me received two gift certificates for Villaggio for Christmas that year and I didn't attempt to use the certificate from my husband until 14 months after it was purchased. The front desk kindly told me they couldn't honor it and that I would need to speak to the business director to see if anything could be done for me. I have left several messages over several months for the business director and never received a call back. Though I would be very disappointed, I would understand if her hands were tied and couldn't do anything about it, but to not return any of my calls is what will keep me from returning to Villaggio. more

Villaggio Day Spa 10/30/2010

The best part about this Spa is the decor done by the last owner. The x owns and operates the spa now. The employees multi task which means they train each other with out a license and then charge us that use our gift cards a price that matches that of a proffesional. This business is just that all about making the money and pampering is not there. The smell from the sewers will knock you over and there is no real plan to disinfect the foot tubs I was told by the nail department. The filter cap can not be removed so be careful. The tools they use are not sterlized as the cabinet does not work. Ask questions and please be safe. The products were watered down when I was last there and was told the owners girlfriend does that. more

I adored Villaggio. ADORED. I found them online because I was searching for a spa/hair salon with someone who was licensed to do the Keratin Complex treatment on my hair. From the minute I called to schedule an appointment, everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming, informative, and light-hearted. I got a little lost on my way there and I called and the woman who answered was very kind and gave me directions on how to find the place. I drove 2 hours from Bloomington to Fishers just to get this done to my hair, and I will admit I was a bit nervous. Allison knew her stuff. She explained everything to me. Because I was getting a color & keratin, I was there from noon to 4, all day! Never once did I feel unwelcome and I didn't experience any of those weird awkward moments where the hairdressers at some places kind of ignore the fact that you are there. They gave me lemon water to sip too :) I had to sit for periods of time for both the color & keratin and I ended up talking to the other hairdressers and clients and we all just had a really great time joking and talking about where we were all from, etc. The atmosphere was so comfortable and I felt so at ease, something I am not accustomed to when going to get my hair done. I am extremely tempted to drive back up there to get my roots retouched, even though that sounds extreme, because I loved it so much. I WILL be going back up there to get my keratin treatment again, even though that's not for a while! 5 stars, highly recommend to every and anyone. Definitely a little pricey, but I was prepared for that and I was more than willing to tip nicely because Allison was just incredible and a really kind and patient and funny person. Even the people working behind the desk stuck with me because they were so amiable and easy to talk to. Keep it up, Villaggio, never stop doing all the things you do so well! I will see you again! Top Salon and Spa in Indianapolis!!! 4/7/2010

I recently visited Villaggio day spa for a full day of services. I had a massage, facial, mani/pedi, and also hair. (the works) :) When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly front desk staff that showed me to the locker room and offered me wine, water, and other snacks. \r \r My massage was nothing but the BEST! Very relaxing and helpful to my stress level! I then had one of their new Emminence organic facials that left me with an amazing glow! I even treated myself and purchased the products to take home!! After that I had my mani/pedi which was perfect. The pedicure tubs need a little work, but other than that I was extremely satisfied. I finished my day with a cut from the salon. The girls in the salon are a breath of fresh air! They were very friendly, fun, and most importantly GOOD!! \r \r I would recommend Villaggio to EVERYONE! And to all those negative reviews below....you don't know what your missing!!! \r \r Can't wait to schedule my next spa day! Pros: Amazing services, Top service providers, Relaxing Enviroment more

top massage and facial in area 3/10/2010

First Time villaggio goer and wow...best massage i have ever had. Asked her where she trained because was unlike any other I had experienced. Facial was awesome too. Both Ann and Melinda were outstanding and informative. They both helped me pick out perfect products as well that I am thouroughly enjoying at home. Can't wait to go back. One flaw however was the girl in the Beatles T shirt and pink hair that claimed to be the manager. She was lethargic and kind of rude. I thought she was kidding that she was manager because she was not at all a representative of the quality I had just experienced. I still recommend it there though-awesome! Had a facial done at the Zionsville location. The service was weak, paid for a full hour but did not get a full hour service. None of the people in my party were overly pleased with their services, massages mostly. None of the services were consistant..one person got light w/ extractions and one person did not. really confused and dissapointed 12/8/2009

I had to leave a comment after i saw that villaggio got the city search for best brazillian wax...WHAT A JOKE!!!!!! I used to go to Trisha Fish and she left after some shady stuff went down and went to Flirt Salon and Spa. i needed to get in for a last minute wax and she was booked on the day i needed in (it was VERY last minute) so i decided to call villaggio.\r well they were able to get me in that day (probably because no one wants to go there anymore). I had THE worse wax of my life! my skin tore, i had a lot of hair left and when i called to get a redo they were gonna make me pay for it. The only reason they got that award was because Trisha used to work there...\r I wouldnt waste my time going there again, and i have learned my lesson about straying away from what i know is the best.\r so i highly recomend Trisha at Flirt Salon and Spa and NOT go to villaggio Pros: nothing Cons: all the good people have left! more

Wonderful experience... 8/25/2009

I just want to give possitive feed back to the entire Villaggio Staff. This is the 2nd time me and my girlfriends have been back for a spa party. The entire process was simple and easy. Also, for the second time Barb has helped me organize this event. Like alway it went off without a hitch and we had an awesome time. See you all again next fall. Fantastic Customer Service and Best Massage Ever! 8/25/2009

Typically, I don't write reviews on internet blogs or forums but after reading another review I felt that I had to share something POSITIVE for potential customers to Villaggio. I have been a client of Villaggio for several years and I have never had anything but positive experiences. I have had facials, massage, and body treatments by members of their staff and it has always been fantastic! The facility is beautiful and the staff has always made me feel comfortable. TAKE IT FROM A LONG TIME CLIENT....YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED! Pros: Beautiful facility and great customer service Cons: Wish I could go more often more

A true rip off 8/24/2009

I was given a $250 gift certicate May 1, 2009 with the impression they carry Epicuren skin care. After a couple of weeks finding out they can't get it in, I was then told it would be easier to order my product online. After speaking to several that I can't get through that way I hear that I cannot use gift certificates online. It is now Monday, Aug 24 and I received PART of my product last week with PROMISES from Zionsville and Fishers the rest would be sent out last Wednesday. I called today to see what happened and she said the bills were on Barb's desk and they can't send until she signs...
