A slice of New York ! 7/31/2008

This has to be one of the best pizzerias ever ! I've been eating here since I was a child and the same cook is still behind the counter toss dough in the air. The cheese is like nothing I've ever tasted and the crust melts in your mouth ! I give it a 5 star rating !! more

Good Pizzeria 6/2/2008

The nice thing about Village Pizzeria is that it?s a sit down place with good service, beer, and a couple of TVs but you can order any pizza by the slice. They also serve a side salad that is surprisingly good for a couple of dollars. They have the best little garlic rolls. more

super decent lasagna good calzone except when the food is cold when delivered because they had the most incompetent driver i have ever dealt with in my life how does it take 15 minutes of circling to find an address on a block that only has houses on one side of the street the other is a park! more

This place is near my work, and they deliver too! I called them just before they opened, and they were very friendly. They took my order and I asked to have my pizza delivered around 11:45 am, and they delivered it almost exactly on time! The pizza was hot and tasty! PROS: Good, tasty pizza! CONS: more

No fool'n, even mom likes it. Not soup not a brick oven fired brick. Just a truely genuine great pizza. This is what you will say when you order a plain pizza but now on to a great pizza, mushrooms, sausage, olive, ham and the kitchen sink. On your first visit I suggest you get a plain chesse and start one at a time add an ingrediant until you get a favorite combo Cons: parking needs work more

Best Pizza Outside of NY 5/16/2005

It is still a long way away from a great Pizza in NYC, but it is the best that you can get in San Francisco. Order in or do take-out, as delivery just doesn't taste the same for some reason. Definitely worth the trip to Van Ness! Pros: Pizza more
