I've been buying pizza's from Village Pizzeria for years. Usually there are decent people behind the counter, but there are a few who just don't care... On those days, I just take my pizza and beat a hasty retreat. Pros: location Cons: OK pizza and inconsistent customer service more

One of the best pies in Puget Sound 2/4/2008

I whole-heartedly agree with the last reviewer. I am always on the hunt for the ""perfect"" New York or Italian thin crust slice of pizza. A few new high-end pizzerias have opened in Seattle (Tutta Bella, Via Tribunali, Serious Pie), and they are quite good, but I still think that Village is up there with the best. Whether you grab a 1/2 baked pie to take home or sit out on the lawn and eat your pizza with a million dollar view, you can't go wrong with this place! Pros: Outdoor seating in the summer, Fantastic salad dressing that you can buy Cons: Very small inside more

Heaven on earth 11/6/2006

I never would write one of these but the review I read was so off and completely ridiculous I had to. First off The Village Pizzeria is without question the best pizza I have ever had, whether it's a simple slice of pepperoni or a whole gourmet pie. Secondly the reviewer prior to me stated the Village Pizzeria was a rip off of the restaurant of the same title in San Francisco. Well it just so happens the owner of this Pizzeria in Langley founded the very same restaurant in San Fran, but later sold the rights to the new owner. So this is far from any sort of rip-off. The one thing the previous reviewer did get right was the sitting outside part, but not because the inside is ""filthy"" but because it is the best view Langley has to offer. Simply put ask anyone within a 25 mile radius of Langley, Wa and I guarantee they will tell you that The Village Pizzeria is the best pizza they have ever had and that anyone who tells you otherwise is an idiot. more

Another dirty and overpriced Langley ripoff 6/19/2006

Gee, when do we ever learn? This is another filthy restaurant in Langley that I literally won't step foot into again. The food is mediocre to bad, depending on what you order. It's also very expensive but that's Langley for you, so not a surprise. The best thing I can suggest is go there on a warm summer day, sit outside and watch the Sound, and ignore the food. If you're outside you expect dirt, but stay away from the inside or you will lose your appetite. Gross. Pros: Sit outside and get a nice water view Cons: Bad food, filthy restaurant, high prices more
