GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE! 10/17/2011

Every year around my birthday, my preferred lunch treat is Villa Vito! We took an outside patio table with cushioned seats which makes the atmosphere very cozy. The pizza is some of the best ever! Homemade with fresh ingredients. My sister ordered a cheese steak which she said was the best she ever tasted. The waitresses are beyond friendly and generous, no request is too big, and be prepared to start a nice conversation with them. This is one of my all time favorite little restaurants and I'm always coming back! more

Great Pizza! 5/25/2008

was there w/ a friend over the Memorial weekend. We had a ceaser salad that was excellent , most places you order caeser salad the dressing is out out a jar ,this was home made! We also had a pesto pizza with black olives & fresh tomatoes that was great!the dough was crispy & the toppings were generous. We ate on the outside patio out back,it was quaint & very New Hopey Pros: Nice outdoor atmosphere, away from the crowds more

Get Pizza 11/13/2005

IF you eat here - stick with their pizza. The other food is not very good - there are so many BETTER places. Pros: friendly service, not crowded Cons: expensive, dark, not quality food more

Excellent 7/5/2005

Party of 6. Great food and service. Homemade Ravioli's and Gnocchi's. Very casual. Have already recommend to 3 other couple who have gone there and have come away very pleased. Pros: Food, Prices more

Not worth a visit 5/21/2005

It seems that Villa Vito is consistently bad. The service there was terrible. Our entrees were all served at different times, the first one coming twenty minutes before the last. The salads to be served before our entrees were totally forgotten, and when we did finally get them, they consisted of a few pieces of iceburg lettuce and some dressing. Overall, the food was mediocre, and certainly not worth the prices. My daughter ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and received was simply a piece of grilled chicken on a roll. She had to request that they add some lettuce and tomato. The ambiance also left something to be desired. The one light above us was burnt out, so we sat in the dark, even though there was a candle on the table that could have been lit for us. In short: if you are in New Hope, skip Villa Vito. Pros: uncrowded Cons: , poor quality, poor service more

TERRIBLE ALL AROUND 8/12/2004

Outdoor dining was like a patio in a trailer park. Server was friendly but forgot a portion of our order, then disappeared after we got our food. Completely. We never saw her again. Food was good if you think you're eating in a pizza joint. We were charged $9.95 for a plate of 5 ravioli in red sauce. Not bad if: 1. the pasta is fresh/homemade; or 2. the filling is something special. NOPE! These were your standard $3 for 30 frozen supermarket raviolis! Also, since this was supposed to be an entree (!), it should have come with a salad (iceberg lettuce, no doubt) which never came. This restaurant is TERRIBLE! Mamma mia! Cons: , overpriced, tacky decor more

Perhaps the worst I've had 2/16/2004

Visited 2/14/04 for a late lunch, my stuffed shells were OK at best, my dates eggplant parm. was absolutely disgusting! She ate 1 bite, tried another then pushed it aside. Staff never questioned un-eaten food, just took it away... Will never return. more
