I love little mom and pop restaurants, and this little gem is in that category of the few still out there in the city. Pros: Great food and service Cons: ---

Worst

Adequate cuisine, but do not consider patronizing it during peak dining hours. The plastic potted plant in the corner will grow fruit before you are seated.

Great food - I have never eaten inside the restaurant, only received delivery, but they do it right. None of these flimsy food containers - this stuff is rock solid, and the food is super tasty and fresh. Awesome find! more

Reminds me of back east 7/29/2002

This is your typical american italian restaurant found throughout the north-east...breaded everything, in tomato sauce, awesome pizzas, simple and straightforward menu...veal picata and meatballs for god's sake. Could afford to go a bit easier on the garlic with the bruschetta but otherwise, AWESOME. A new favorite. Pros: food, atmospere more

What a great time we had this past saturday at my brother's wedding reception at Villa Romana! It was just great, it reminded me of a wedding I attended in Sicily just last year. The restaurant staff and owner are commendable...unbelievably good food to boot! Oh, and don't forget the ""Mambo Italiano"" they had in the banquet room!!! Two Thumbs up for sure! What a fantastic cute place the Villa Romana Restaurant is. I am so amazed by how beautiful and cozy the interior of the restaurant is. The food is extraordinary, and the service is impeccable.
