My girlfriend and I went to Villa Capri for an early Valentine's date and couldn't have been more pleased. It was cool outside, so the patio was closed but it looked beautiful and I hope to enjoy it on future visits. The restaurant has Mediterranean architecture and ambiance, which was aided by a guitarist playing at the perfect volume (excessive volume is a problem I often have with live music). \r

The service was excellent, although the restaurant only had a few other patrons. Our waiter was courteous and knew all of the evening's specials. \r

The price was also very reasonable. Both of our entrees were about $15 each, which included the salad bar. I ordered a chicken dish sauteed in a white wine sauce with artichokes, garlic and mushrooms. It was very tender, with the exception of a small piece of one of the breasts that was very thin and had been slightly overcooked. The flavors complemented each other well, and I would definitely recommend trying this dish. My girlfriend ordered a shrimp dish, which she seemed to enjoy. Our only complaint was that the shrimp was served in sauce, but the tails were left on which made it difficult to eat. The grilled bread and garlic infused dipping oil were more than enough to make up for this. \r

Overall, the evening was a very positive experience and I look forward to coming back next time I want a romantic dinner.
Pros: Great setting, good food & service
Cons: The best aspect of the restaurant can only be enjoyed when the weather is good
