The good news: Vertigo does NOT abide by their dress code. Many people wore t-shirts, sandals, sneakers, and shorts -- no problem.
The somewhat good news: The bartenders are nice, attractive, and efficient.
The bad news: Expensive cover and drinks for what is probably the worst club in Boston. I really wanted to love this place. It's right near home, it seemed to be highly recommended, the DJs seemed legit. But I've been back three times now, hoping each time that the experience would meet expectations. It does not and, I realize, cannot. The dance floor is small; the staff is rude and unexpectedly touchy-feely; the bathrooms are foul. I've been to better clubs in Tijuana.
Go -- but only if you've got money to burn and time to waste.
Pros: Bartending staff
Cons: Weapons check at front door, exorbitant drinks, claustrophobia
